I used to work at a FORD dealership in the service dept, scheduling apppts. However, I was occasionally called on to help as a 'service advisor' to write up basic maintenence jobs ( oil change, tire rotations etc). Every once in a while a simple repair turned into a bigger job. I knew the basics but when I needed more info to get customer authorization I would ask my guys to give me the kindergarten Crayola version so I could simply explain. I must admit your explanation for out of alignment and the reason why would be perfect for explaining to my women customers. BRAVO....Fortunately I am retired from the auto industry.

👍🏻😁🤣 I tow a jeep behind my rig, my cameras aren’t set up yet, soooo I took a piece of pvc, painted it black (style is everything) mondo glued bright red balls on each end, secured it to the front bumper of the Jeep. Now as I drive I can glance over to my mirrors and if My Balls are in the Right Place, I know all is well near my (rigs) bum. 😁👍🏻 This trick has saved both my Jeep and my small trailer. Not tracking right …. There’s a problem. Jeep - blown tow bar. Trailer - blown wheel bearing. So yes I can verify your truth …. Having new balls, and balls in the right place, is very important in life. 🤣🤣 ☄️❤☄️

Chronic problem with Dodge Trucks. Doesn't matter 1/2, 3/4, or 1 ton. Been this way since Dodge did the major design change in the mid 1990s to that "Peterbilt" look from the old square look.

Yeah I'm told its a "Dodge" thing....if I didn't love Bob so much I'd put him up for adoption but he has my whole heart.

@CaseyRoman it's a small job considering what other trucks have for repetitive maintenance. I had a Toyota that needed a head gasket frequently - thankfully, I could do it myself 🙄
