Bloody hell. I’ve been using lfo tool for 6 years and some very complicated stuff, with pan, filters etc….but never noticed the smooth function 😂😂😂…it is possible to draw in more curves that can fit any looped kick pattern.

Same haha, a game changer. Btw yeah sure it’s totally possible. Like you could put it in bar instead of 1/4, and design the curve wherever you need it. But it’s not really convenient in that case, however you can do it!

You can just have shaper box triggered by audio (i.e. the kick) so it will start on every kick and you get full control of the side chain and also it's Multiband so you can have it only effect the bottom end

Oh yeah 100%! Just got used to using shaper box only when it's 4 on the floor but you can def do that too!

As I'm normally working with Four to the floor, I use the sidechain trigger track with a Rim Shot playing 1/64 notes to "Sends only". This is my source for the built-in compressor in Ableton. At the moment, I am totally fine with it. But it's interesting what you can do besides that.

Method number 2 i think its wrong when mixing, u have to change dynamic phase to linear phase to avoid phase problems on low-end, also under botton ext sidechain u have to make 100% mono goint to right the bar, and when u are doing sidechain kick and bass you always want the higher ratio, attack fast and play with the release, and lookahead is good for you around +-3ms, try it.
