I think FFXV happens before FFVII as a prequel. Diamond weapon, the spells that are balls that are thrown (in VII they are materials with the shape of balls, they managed to synthesize them correctly) the sidereos/invocations are the same in the 2 games (maybe Bahamuth evolved to his dragon form)

Here is something sonic fans most likely don't know. Chaos warp/chaos snap is where he can teleport himself or other things with no chaos emerald, and chaos control is where he warps time and space to freeze it. Gerald Robotnik said himself that he has chaos power flowing throughout him, and since chaos control requires a emerald, we can only say chaos snap is the ability of teleportation.

I feel like what the compilation needs is a strong beginning and end to it. A prequel that shows us more about the planet, the Lifestream and JENOVA and more on the evolution of Shinra as well as the Cetra would be a great way to establish lore for a first chronological entry to the franchise. For a closer, it would be cool if the final entry into the compilation was a sequel to Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII - 2. If Final Fantasy X got a sequel and XIII got two, VII absolutely deserves one. I don't know what it would involve narratively, but something where the stakes are much higher and the characters involved are more important than Dirge is all that I really need and I hope that what it does is tie into the 500 years later post credits sequence that we see in VII and gives us more context into what exactly happened there. I never thought about it before, but I think the kids laughing at the end of that scene is confirmation of humanity surviving and being able to prosper and coexist with nature in happiness.

the only times I appreciated Momo's character in Darkness is when she'd drop the harem plan pretense and just want some quality alone time with Rito. her insecure moments are among the only times she doesn't come across as a glorified plot device attempting to vocalize or brute force something that would be better off happening naturally.

i personally have heard other theories about mikas unusual behaviour and pretending to act like a broken phone and lain being present with a aliens body, when mika loses track of time shes loses her identity as the knights have taken access to her body and whenever she holds up the phones symbol next to her ear shes sharing info back with the knights, after watching lain and her behaviours, and when she keeps making the broken beep sound after the knights have been killed nobody is picking up so the call never goes forward. As for lain being in an aliens body and sharing arisu's secret which lain would have never done, It might be that someone hacked lains account or identity or a part of it and messed around, thus having an unusual body far from ordinary and messing around with her friend.

Regarding the ending scenes in Rebirth: “The End is Nigh” attack name from Sephiroth, is from Loveless (yes!) is one of those Loveless lines Genesis recites… Also… and HEAR ME OUT with this one… “Legend shall speak Of sacrifice at world's end The wind sails over the water's surface Quietly, but surely” The part that says “The wind sails over the water's surface” doesn’t it reminds of the scene Aerith appears in the last battle?
