Hi, have you ever compare using noise canceling from b1m vs audition? Which sound better? Thanks!

Is this the Freestanding model? I am trying to decide which model is best for me. Right now I am leaning toward the freestanding model, but trying to account for the need of any additional rotation that the sled kit would provide.

I just bought the B1M mic. Why can’t I hear recorded playback on videos? Isn’t that a standard function of any video camera? I’ve read that you have to upload it to a computer to hear the audio?

Hay, thanks very much for this review/tutorial. I'm a full novice and just starting out on my film making hobby and doing some research, and although I probably won't have need for dehancer for a long while, and learning is good, right?! And this is one of the better videos I've watched. Super clear and concice explainations without skipping over things. I like! Muchas gracias :)

Hey ! Thanks for the very informative review. I am considering buying 2 of them to make complementary colors lighting for my car photography. For example a 3/4 shot with : 1. a red light on the long side. Light outside of the frame 2. blue light on the other side or to light the background) Please do you think they are powerful enough to light a whole car side in a mid to dark situation (evening, night, parking lot) ? I am also looking at the Pavotube 6C II as it is more powerful, but I am afraid that it would be too short for a whole car side
@MichaelEgglerFilms
@MichaelEgglerFilms 8 ай бұрын
If it‘s pitch black, you might get by with two of these. But if you want more power, I‘d recommend getting a double kit of the new PavoTube 30C ii. These tubes are absolute beasts and will be powerful enough for your shoot🙌

Am I right in thinking the transition from you walking to sitting in the back of a car was at 0:40? It took me like a DOZEN rewatches to figure it out. It was almost COMPLETELY seamless that it just completely flew over my head the first few times before I started thinking about the speed of the bike and therefore the speed of the shot LOL.

Hi friend, what do you prefer? Activating LC or NC or not? Is it better to choose off and process everything we want in the processing program? Another question, please, regarding the decibel, what do you recommend choosing? Thanks
@MichaelEgglerFilms
@MichaelEgglerFilms 10 ай бұрын
Hi It depends. For social media content for example, the NC is amazing since it captures and reduces noise based on the actual shooting situation. In post, it‘s always a bit of guesswork. Obviously depending on the situation, sth. like Adobe Podcast/Enhance Speech does miracles. I prefer shooting at -10.

@@MichaelEgglerFilms 10 hours in, no luck getting the Float balanced with an R5C and a UGREEN 100W battery bank below the quick release plate. Float has 2 v-mount batteries attached... Gimbal is perfectly balanced but the float is a disaster. 🤣

A big plus for the pavopulb in my experience is the fact that it's a bit shorter and less directional. If you put it in a desk lamp for example, the Aputure tends to stick out more. Which kinda ruins it, because you can't sell it as a practical anymore. So I would definitely go with the pavo bulb with more real life use cases, the numbers aren't that interesting. It functions more like an actual lightbulb.

I use a cage from Smallrig for the A7S3. It leaves the hot shoe mount free for the mic and has a lot of mounting possibilities for monitors, mics etc.

Hello Michael, One question that I am still not convinced about. Is it worth to spend more money one the Pavotube 30 X ? I don't know why I'm still hesitating, but... Thank you !
@MichaelEgglerFilms
@MichaelEgglerFilms Жыл бұрын
If you want higher output and pixel control, then yes. It‘s also one of these things where you probably invest a bit more for a bigger ROI in the long run. Also, the 30X are currently discounted massively on BH.
