I suggest studying the places where "adokimos" (found unfit, rejected, reprobate) is used. Rom 3? 4? tells us that we will be credited righteousness if we follow the same example of faith as Abraham. So many Christians seem to miss that our choices and actions openly display what we truly believe. If I give a homeless man a gift card with $1000 and tell him so and then he never uses it or throws it out, obviously he did not believe my message. We who call ourselves disciples are held to the same standard of faith. Grafted in through faith, cut off (removed after being attached) through unbelief - Rom 11: 20-24 2 Cor 13 "examine yourselves whether you be in the faith. Surely you know that Jesus is among you, unless you've been disqualified (adokimos)". We can have security like Caleb and Joshua could. The rest were disqualified and they are a warning to us (1 Cor 9 and 10 and Hebrews). I hope you will sincerely seek the Lord on this. Our faith can be found fit or unfit. Let's not comfort ourselves into hell. Why do we ignore Jesus' own words? "If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. Better to enter eternal life maimed than to have both body AND soul thrown into the Valley of Hinnom (Jerusalem's garbage dump where the garbage was burned)." Nevertheless, Paul warned that in the last days Christians would no longer endure sound teaching, but seek out easier messages. Don't be one of them.

Noah worked on that ark for a long time with faith following God's command to do so. Also he used God's design to build it. Without Noah's effort and obedience he would not have an ark. I am a prodigal son and grateful for our Father to have me back. I work to keep from sin. I work to show that the kingdom is real for others to see. I sacrifice my own desires for his will to show our Father and Jesus my gratitude for deliverance from uncleanness. I don't work for salvation. Without fear of our Lord you are prideful and arrogant. The fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom. Geqring the almighty is the healthiest fear you can have. Be ye perfect (complete). Sanctification requires effort as well as following commands. I have a different interpretation on James 2. I don't think it's referring to justification before others. I do think that concept is biblical though in Titus 3:8. But I don't think James 2 is talking about that concept exegetically. I believe James 2 is about justification before God however it's a different kind of justification, not positional justification but experiential justification. James is talking to saved brethren and he explains to walk like those judged by the law of liberty. I think that refers to the law of reaping and sowing Paul talked about. To be justified means to be declared righteous, positionally that is done by faith. Experientially that is done by loving others (and that has nothing to do with positional salvation, but experiential salvation within the law of liberty like James talks about). The fact that it's called "the law of liberty" proves it's not positional since we have liberty in Christ as saved believers. We are positionally his. But like Paul said, use not your liberty as occasion to the flesh.

We have always been big on supporting others when they’re in need even if they don’t ask for help. There are so many people in desperate situations it’s heartbreaking. This is the first time we’ve ever asked for help. When a family is about to lose their home and is home taking care of a child with a serious disease, I would definitely encourage them to ask for help, even if it’s from followers on KZbin and that’s how the Lord is leading them. I hope that by us asking for help encourages others to not be ashamed or afraid to do the same. There are KZbinrs getting financial support all the time for various reasons and no one bats an eye. But when someone is asking for help for genuine and serious situations it’s considered pan handling? I get why people would have concerns over people asking for financial support, but comments like these are really not thought through.

Jesus - If you love me, obey my commandments {John 14:15} Your wife hasn't repented and neither have you, you're both preaching a false gospel. I'm very worried for you both, especially for her. (My past, before Christ sought me as a lost sheep and called me to repentance through His word, was very similar to hers) Luke 11:24-26 When an unclean spirit comes out of a man, it passes through arid places seeking rest and does not find it. Then it says, ‘I will return to the house I left.’ On its return, it finds the house swept clean and put in order. Then it goes and brings seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and dwell there. And the final plight of that man is worse than the first.” I'm praying for you guys. I pray the scales would be removed from your eyes so you could see. Dont let the pride of the following you're building here keep you from truly coming to Christ. (No sin is forgiven without repentance and there is no salvation if sin is not forgiven)

Thank you for your concern. What do you believe this false gospel is teaching that is false? What are Jesus’ commandments?

@@myflourishingfam Let me preface this response by stating I am in no way trying to claim that I myself am perfect, sinless, a perfect Christian, or have done anything to earn my salvation, nor am I trying to put anyone down, but to shine The Light of Christ in His Truth. Free grace is a false theology. It has been around since biblical times, as we can evidence from scriptures such as Romans 6:1-2 and Jude 1:4 for a couple of examples, but let's focus on the modern uprising of this man made theology. Free grace as we know it today began in the 1970s by a man named Jack Hyles. Jack Hyles was having an affair with one of his parishioners who was married, he paid off her husband to remain quiet about the affair, and used the church and placed his own wants over what scripture says to try to make scripture work to cover his sin, stating that because of grace you can sin whatever you want to as long as you believe Jesus was real. What does The Word say about hiding your sin? Proverbs 28:13 - Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy. What does The Word say about changing scripture? Revelation 22:18- I testify and warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book [its predictions, consolations, and admonitions]: if anyone adds [anything] to them, God will add to him the plagues (afflictions, calamities) which are written in this book; What does The Word say about teaching falsely? 2 Peter 2:1- But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-bringing swift destruction on themselves. 2 Peter 2:3- In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping. 2 Peter 2:12-These false teachers are like unthinking animals, creatures of instinct, born to be caught and destroyed. They scoff at things they do not understand, and like animals, they will be destroyed. Galatians 4:17-These men eagerly seek you [to entrap you with honeyed words and attention, to win you over to their philosophy], not honorably [for their purpose is not honorable or worthy of consideration]. They want to isolate you [from us who oppose them] so that you will seek them. 1 John 4:1-Beloved, do not believe every spirit [speaking through a self-proclaimed prophet]; instead test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets and teachers have gone out into the world. 2 Peter 2:2- Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute. 2 Peter 2:19- They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity-for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.” 2 Timothy 3:8-Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 2 Timothy 4:3-For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. Ezekiel 13:7-Now you, son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people who are prophesying out of [the wishful thinking of] their own mind (inspiration). Prophesy against them And many others, I've cited quite a few. Who does Scripture say THE WORD is? Jesus, of course. We also know it is written that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, so if it is in THE WORD then Christ has said it and agreed with it because He IS The Word, and has been from everlasting to everlasting. So the fallacy of "old testament vs new testament" doesn't stand, because we know a house divided cannot stand and The Master is not double minded nor are God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit divided among themselves. Free grace theology tells us we can sin all we want to, be reprobate, apostate, rebellious, do not have to know, love, surrender to, worship or serve The Lord, can live however we choose, even to the point of being a satanist (as I once was, among other diverse sins, Id be happy to share my full testimony of interested) and that you can still go to heaven because of God's grace, because John 3:16 and Ephesians 2:8-9, this teaching has completely warped The Word of God and is complete enmity against God. How do I know this? When God gave me the final call to repent, I had sought Him out. How did I do this? By hearing The Word. I listened to the entire Bible from front to back. (Today, I still study The Word both on paper and with audio study. ) The deeper into The Word I got, the more The Holy Spirit convicted me of my sin which lead me to repentance. I wanted to know God for real, not just say I did when I actually never did. (Never knew the whole scripture, only knew John 3:16 by heart and believed Jesus was real, I was not in a salvational relationship with Christ by any means when I believed this way) Had I found free grace back then instead of seeking The Word for myself, I would have never become Born Again. I would not have a real, living relationship with The Creator now. I wouldn't know Him and He would not know me. I would still be condemned in my sin because I never confessed that they WERE sin and I never asked God to forgive me, never accepted Him as Master over my life, never declared His Name to the world (1 John 1:9, Romans 10:9) He would have never given me a new heart, a heart that loves Him and wants Him and wants to please and serve Him and follow Him despite whatever cost that may be to me, where my old heart loved myself, loved my lifestyle, wanted my own power and my own way, to be my own god. I'd still be trapped in sin. I thank God daily He kept free grace hidden away from me, until I was more tempered and forged, to be more able to properly serve Him by sounding the alarm against it. Repentance is a command from God, not a work, and it isn't optional. Repentance is a fruit (or result) of the work Christ did at the cross for us, it is a gift of The Holy Spirit, as it is The ONLY way to enter into a salvational covenant relationship with Christ. It is both a prerequisite to entering into a covenant with Him as well as a lifelong command to maintain that relationship. The Holy Spirit CANNOT abide with unrepentant sin. No sin is forgiven without repentance, and no sin will ever entire God's Holy Kingdom. If God The Father turned His back on His only Son when He bore all of our sins, do you really think He will tolerate sin from us? Do you really think we can abide with sin and God at the same time? I think you know deep down that simply isn't true. You cannot convince those of us who know The Word that free grace comes from scripture, because it doesn't. Its man made, and it is propagated by emulation, one teaches one, then that one goes and teaches more, and that's how it spreads. It appeals to man because man is deceived into thinking he or she may continue to be their own Master and do as they please sans consequences. Man loves sin and loves themselves. Its man violating God's Holy boundaries and trying to play gotcha with God, trying to force God into an abvsive relationship with man. "God I can mistreat you and cross your boundaries and violate your authority all I want to because grace, because no works, because John 3:16!" That sounds like our enemy the accuser, doesn't it? It sure does to me. Whatever sins you have in your life that you aren't willing to confess and forsake to God, that's your 30 pieces of silver. Please don't take this as an attack, but rather as a loving warning. I pray God would call you and your family to repentance and you would hear it and that the scales would fall from your eyes, that you would be given discernment and that you would come to repentance and enter into that real and lasting covenant with Him. I want to share heaven with you some day! God bless you

@@myflourishingfam As per your query what The Masters commands are, there are more commands in The New testament than the old, and I believe I already explained how Jesus is the same God from Genesis to Revelation and back again. But I can give a short example, as I'm running out of free time now, free grace says we don't have to love God to be saved, but what did my Master say?? Matthew 22:37 - Jesus replied: “’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ Just one small example, but I believe it is sufficient. People think that they are saved while they are walking in sins saying that repenting from sins is not required for salvation whitch is false. Tommorow is not promised to anyone so if you belive that Jesus is Christ then why you do not live as he is saying and teach others the same? What kind of faith allows you to do evil? You cannot be saved by slandering, stealing, lying manipulating, hating, gossiping...etc. all this things leads you to the broad path and if you die without repentance and come to the judgment you will be condemned for the things that you do not want to repent off. There are no little sins and big ones. Sin is sin. That's why God gives people mutch grace so that they can came out of their fleshly narratives and ways of living into his glory by accepting his Word, will, to build relationship with him, and to live by it. God's grace is not a liscence to sin so if you know this; today is the day of salvation.

You're preaching works. 1 Cor 1-15 was a massive rebuke to the church at Corinth for all the ongoing sin, carnality and heretitcal teaching. In 1 Cor 1:2, 7-8 Paul told them that they were sanctified, of the church of God, saints, and that Jesus Christ would present them blameless on that day. After affirming their salvation, he went into 15 chapters of correction. In 1 Cor 3:1-3 he called them carnal many times, so there is the unfortunate reality of a carnal Christian. In 1 Cor 15:51-52 he told them they were ALL going in the rapture. He also told them in 1 Cor 3:10-15 that some would have all their works burned up at the Bema Seat of Christ (v15) yet they would STILL BE SAVED. Their lives were full of insincere service to Christ, idleness, or sin, all of which didn't pass the test of fire, yet their salvaiton was not based on their performance and works. It was based on their faith in Jesus (Gal 3:26).

1 Cor 15:2 says, "Through the Gospel, you are also Being Saved, if you hold fast to the word I preached to you, unless you believed in vain." Believers are saved, Only when they have persevered to the end (Matt 24:13). That's why St. Peter says 'righteous one is barely saved (1 Peter 4:18),' and St. Paul says "I chastise my body and bring it into subjection, lest perhaps, after I have preached to others, I myself should become a reprobate (1 Cor 9:27)' and 'work out your salvation with fear and trembling (Phil 2:12).' To be saved, one MUST Observe all Our Lord commanded which are taught by His Church (Matt 28:20). "Unless you do penance, you shall perish (Luke 13:3-5)." "This is the will of God that you be holy (1Thes 4:3)" "Only the one who does the Will of My Father in Heaven will enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt 7:21)."
@myflourishingfam2 күн бұрын
You're pulling a bunch of verses out of context and mashing them together to make a case. 1 Cor 15:2 Paul is saying "do you remember the gospel I preached to you?" Paul's gospel included the resurrection, as he reaffirmed in 1 Cor 15:3-4, something they were denying. He tells them in v14, 17 that if Jesus didn't rise from the dead, they believed in vain because there would be no resurrection for them either. Matt 14:13 is about perservering the end of the Tribulation period. In fact, if Jesus hadn't cut that time short, no flesh would be saved (v22). Compare Matt 24 to Rev 6 and you'll see the first 6 seal judgements described by Jesus in order in concept and detail, just without the name. Matt 24 is the Tribulation and Jesus is giving believers in that time hope that they'll be rescued at the end of it. 1 Pet 4:18 "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" The righteous are barely saved because it's only by God's grace, not our works. 1 Cor 9:27 is about rewards at the Bema Seat of Christ (1 Cor 3:10-15). Salvation itself is not a reward, prize, or wage. You cannot earn or deserve it, meaning it's only by grace that we get it. Salvation is a gift, freely given to all who will receive it (Eph 2:8-9, Rom 6:23, John 4:10). Work out doesn't mean work for. Working out our salvation with fear and trembling (Phil 2:12) means to work outwardly that which is already within you as a believer. Essentially, walk out your salvation in a way that it impacts you life, with reverance and humility. Matt 28:20 is the great commission to the disciples, not conditions for salvation. They were called, as we are, to share the gospel and build each other up in Christ. Obedience to commands is our calling, but involves works. We aren't saved by works (Eph 2:8-9, Titus 3:5). That verse isn't about salvation, but walking out our lives for Jesus. Luke 13:3-5 Jesus was speaking to crowds, not exclusively to believers. He's calling unbelievers to believe in Him. God's will for us to be holy is what He calls those who already know Him to. There are things we are called to that aren't about salvation. What God wants from us now that we are saved is for us to live righteously. If it were about salvation, then we're in trouble because all of our righteous works are still a pile of filthy rags before God (Isa 64:6). What is the will of the Father in Matt 7:21? In relation to eternal life, it's John 6:40 "And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." God's will for His children once they are saved is that they live and grow in this new life, bearing fruit for Him, yet relating to salvation the requirement is faith in what Jesus did for us (1 Cor 15:3-4).

@@myflourishingfam That's your opinion. Please read Acts 2:47, which says "Every day the Lord added to their numbers, those who were BEING SAVED." And 2 Cor 2:15. Those members of His Church are not saved yet, but in the process of being saved. That's why Our Lord said, "Whoever believes you and be baptized WILL be saved, and whoever does not believe you WILL be condemned (Mark 16:16)." Why "WILL BE" ? Because those who believe may fall away, and thus, lose the salvation, and those who did not believe may believe later and come to His Church and thus earn salvation.

@@hyeminkwun9523that is a bad translation you are using. NIV I presume? Read it in the King James Version

@@RickZolaBuckeyeBeliever Why ? Do you not know that the Bible came from the Catholic Church ? Protestants deleted several books from the Bible after they revolted. And their translation ? I think King James version is acceptable. The ones translated recently are all corrupted. I use Catholic Bible including Douay-Rheims version, the first English translation of the Latin Vulgate.

Amen! Thank you dear Brother! Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the GIFT of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." Acts 16:31 "And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house." Colossians 1:14 "In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:" Salvation is obtained by simply believing in Jesus' death (Blood sacrifice), burial and resurrection with all your heart for payment of all your sins, past, present and future.
