The thing is, he gave you a reason, “foreigners bbq outside and I don’t want that here.” Legitimate excuse. But why would he then deny it still if you said “but no, I won’t bbq outside. I’ll obey the rules.” What then? If you’re still denied, the reason he gave wasn’t the real reason. He just doesn’t want to deal with someone who thinks differently, speaks differently and might be hard for him to understand. Which yes, is racist. BUT… as the owner that’s his right and it sucks.
@TakenByJapanКүн бұрын
As American, this was super surprising. I had no idea they could deny tenants simply on race. You’re right. It would be so much nicer if the guy just made it a rule. It sucks he can do that, legally!

Probably because anime and video games are such a huge export, they take a lot of pride in it- great stories, acting and amazing musical scores. In the US animation is largely considered ‘for kids’ and treated as an afterthought. But there are a few good dubs out there, and a handful of English voice actors I like. But subs are definitely king 👍

The reason you think sub is better then dub is because you dont speak japanese, and cannot detect bad japanese voice acting. Its much easier to hear bad voice acting when you natively speak the language youre listening to. Also cherry picking scenes doesnt mean anything, their are plenty of brilliantly voiced dub scenes.

Yesterday I watched a video about how many people post negative comments (CdawgVA talking about Vtubers/Ironmouse), looking at this comment section... I'm starting to agree. Like: "I don't like this kind of pizza" OK, but why post this ? Comments are great for engagement and helps the algorithm, but it's odd behavior. And that's coming from a Dutch guy, the Dutch are known for our directness.
@TakenByJapanАй бұрын

Looks good but that mozzarella is overcooked (you can notice by the whey separating from it) , that is sign of an oven that is too cold and probably the pizza was also a bit drier than what it should have been, i have no doubt that if the oven was at the right temp that pizza would have been much much better
@TakenByJapanАй бұрын
Really? I never would have known that. Hopefully the next place I go gets the oven temperature right.
@GigaDavy91Ай бұрын
@TakenByJapan yeah, at least for Neapolitan style pizza is really important, other types of pizza use low moisture mozzarella/pasta filante, and dont have that problem or at least not to that extent. In fact Neapolitan style pizza is the one with the shortest cooking time for that reason, higher temp for a shorter time
