Out of curiosity, when you filled your tank with compressed air or something, is this so you can have your own water on your travels?

You will need a charger for the specified voltage to wake up the bms . You can use a similar volt battery . You can use an unregulated solar panel as long as it’s over the 26 volts you just need to touch on the battery terminals for a second to wake up bms . Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍🍻

Kickass brought this fridge out approximately 4 years ago and I purchased then not long after they stopped selling them . I don’t know the reason but it’s a replica of the bushman roadie fridge bushman.com.au/product/bushman-roadie-15l/ I was so lucky to pick this up for $299 as they are very expensive. It’s a great fridge though and no problems whatsoever. Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍🍻

Good review but numbers seem a bit odd. When fridge was running it was pulling 4a. I find it had to believe it only pulled about 1a/hr in a hot test like that. Engels pull 2.7a and in a controlled test some years back pulled 1.7a/hr average. So wondering if there is an error in there?
@EFFICIENTSELF
@EFFICIENTSELF 10 күн бұрын
You raise a valid point. The fridge pulling 4A while running does seem inconsistent with the 1A/hr average in such a hot test. It’s possible the lower figure reflects an extended cycle off-time due to high efficiency or insulation, but I agree it seems unusually low compared to something like an Engel. I’ll do another video hopefully soon in similar hot conditions and I will retest to ensure there wasn’t an error. Thanks again for pointing this out and thanks for watching 👍🍻

ha ha ha - Knead It is what I would have used too. Great info on the power consumption and the difference of having it ventilate. Leaves me about wondering what to do as the power consumption is ok, but with it mounted beside my desk, the heat adj is not that welcome. Then again, with the 90l Kings unit, it has to shift the same amount of heat out of the FRidge too to keep stuff cold, so I guess the net is close to zero on the heat front. Thanks again!

Hi . This fridge has a high power draw also you need to leave about 4 to 5 cm gap on either side of the fridge as the cooling lines run at the sides of the fridge and need to leave a bit of clearance at rear of fridge as well. I have this fridge running in a bar area at home currently and still going well . Had for approximately 3 and half years . Hope this helps and thanks for watching 👍🍻

I had one of those just different brand and wasn't happy with it because it wouldn't start car if under 100% even with car battery showing 11.2V so my solution was just to have small portable 40W solar panel with aligator clips and started flat battery every time even cloudy rainy day and all it takes is not even 20min of waiting time 😁 eventually got rid off lithium starter pack because it ended up looking like puffer fish 😌 if anyone has portable power station with 240v AC port I suggest just to buy cheap 5A battery charger and run a power cord to your bonnet and 5A battery charger will enable you to start your car within 15-30min after you hook it up to your car battery 😌

The Q I have is - after you jump start the car could re-connecting the dead battery to charge it on the car's system make it conk out again?
@EFFICIENTSELF
@EFFICIENTSELF 18 күн бұрын
Yes, reconnecting a dead battery can make the car conk out if the battery is damaged or can’t hold a charge. It can overload the alternator, cause voltage drops, and disrupt the car’s electronics. If the battery is too far gone, it’s better to replace it. Thanks for watching 👍🍻

Nice one Dino. Love your reviews mate! I think their claim of 10,000mAh is on the money, devious, but correct - when your normalise the reading at 5.05V of 6541mAh to 3.6V cell voltage it gives 9175mAh, while the 12v test produced a similar 9036mAh. Allowing for losses in the 5V and 12V inverters, the 10000mAh claim is reasonable, although not useful. If the marketing department at kings consider their clients first rather than trying baffle us with bullshit, they would quote Wh on the box. I don't know what current is required to jump start a battery, but the connector for the jumpers looks like an XT90 - rated for around 90A continuous, so I imagine it will supply 150A for a few seconds. That sounds reasonable for 4 x 18650 Li Ion high discharge cells in parallel too.
