For some reason I got some at Kmart for $0.70. It said $35 on the shelf but when it scanned at $0.70 I bought 4! If your not sure if you should get one get in quick and scan one, hope you get a bargin!

I got mine off eBay for $479 it arrived the other day. I also bought a Atem battery box for $130 again off eBay. The battery fits in the box perfectly with room at the end to mount a shunt and a Victron 100/30. So if you're looking for a battery box Atem is a good fit.

These are brilliant units but when you charge to 100% on Solar you get the E02 code and it will not restart until you u plugged the solar panels! I’ve heard there is a software fault but awaiting All powers to confirm what they intend to do with the units already out in the field

Paid $499 through Catch for this battery. Price has gone up since then so must have been on some promotional deal. Very happy with the battery performance . My two plate westinghouse induction stove works fine in the van from this battery through a 2500 watt inverter.Thanks for the video. Great stuff.

I got them from eBay I just searched Toyota hiace slwb 2007 and I got mine for around $270 from memory. Just a heads up the awning is extremely high and to pack the awning has been getting hard I mainly stand on a milk crate now and makes it easier. I strongly recommend to go a fiamma type of awning that you can roll out especially if you are short person . If you also go rollout you will not require the roof bars . Hey, Dino. What you already have is great. I must admit, I didn't put a sink in my van, but I do have the tap. Having no sink gives me more bench space and i dont have to worry about smelly grey water tanks in my van. A collapsible sink does me fine as I can put all my dirty dishes in when I'm staying at a park and utilising the camp kitchen. I really appreciate you sharing your tips and knowledge and look forward to your next video.

The end of the day it must be coming down to what you’re actually asking regardless of your $4000 under the insured. it is just a van with a relatively dodgy build with some white chipboard that has exposed edges, no insult. It’s good for what you have been doing but maybe you’re over estimating what it’s worth, but again I don’t know what your asking for a decent van with a cheap dodgy build, again no offence.

No offence taken mate . Nobody actually looked at the van and not even an offer . Just had scammers enquiring about the van . I actually went and looked at a few on the market and mine was priced less than a poorer condition van . Hence my decision not going ahead with the build . Thanks for watching 👍🍻

It makes no difference which way the shunts are connected; nevertheless, the leads that go to the shunt, the ones that connect to the small Phillips heads, must be properly fitted, one on the battery side and one on the load side with the correct corresponding port. I have used many of this meter, they are reasonably priced, and perform well.

Its very likely Dino that inflation and cost of living make it the wrong time to sell a van plus the van mania has almost ended. Would have made an excellent buy for someone. We had to replace our clutch kit recently for $4000 which has held up our traveling plans so spending 4 months in Forster, NSW

What if your battery doesn’t have any of those LCD panels on the top of it? My battery got too cold last night. My CPAP machine shut off and I’m going to die if I go to sleep again because my battery isn’t working 200Ah Giantz LiFePO4

Lithium batteries can temporarily stop working if they get too cold. Only way for bms to make battery function again is for temperature to warm up again. consider having a backup power solution for your CPAP machine, such as a smaller, portable battery pack or a generator, to ensure you don't face a similar situation in the future. Saw a video on the drawer fridges a while back, old mate drilled holes in the bottom of the drawer, and it appeared to improve the circulation, which improved the efficiency on his tests. Haven't seen anyone put a computer fan in on of these yet, like they're doing to the uprights.

That's an interesting mod with the drilled holes. I have noticed similar improvements with ventilation in other setups too. Adding a computer fan sounds like a great idea to improve circulation even more. I haven't seen anyone try it on drawer fridges, but it might be worth experimenting with. Have you got no VSR for the cable running to the Dc charger. Could you accidentally drain your start battery?

I bought one of these and it makes an annoying "putt putt" noise when the burner is up high? Sounds like yours does the same. My other gas stoves don't make this noise?

The front gable one was about 4K and it was 2012 so today probably add another grand or 2 at least . The rear flat roof think about 2016 was about 7k and again not sure now on todays prices probably best to contact Titan and get more accurate price . Great carports and sheds mate . If I moved to another area and had to get shed or carport I would buy again as I wouldn’t batter an eyelid . Thanks for watching 👍🍻

Like you Ive had a Coleman fyreknight for ages and its brilliant but bulky and I have very rarely used 2 burners at once so this is gonna be a winner!! I cant believe coleman didnt think this was a good idea!! Is the build quality up to the coleman level?

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you found the video helpful. Like you, I've been using the Coleman for a while and it's a solid unit, though bulky. The Kings portable stove is definitely a more compact option, and I think you'll find it handy given you don't often use both burners. In terms of build quality, while Coleman has set a high bar, the Kings stove holds up pretty well. It's robust for its size and price, though it may not have the same long lasting feel as the Coleman. It's definitely worth a try if you're looking for something more portable without compromising too much on quality. Time will tell I guess ,Thanks for watching 👍🍻

Actually looks good. Although, I wonder with that windproofing? The flame may not go out in the wind but how effective would it be in heating?

Cheers nas. While it prevents the flame from being blown out, the effectiveness of heating can vary. Typically, windproof designs aim to shield the flame and maintain a consistent temperature, but extreme conditions might still affect performance. After using my coleman during windy conditions it was awesome. But you brought up a good point i will cover in a video later on after using the stove in different conditions. My fridge pulls over 1000watt when the compressor kicks in. That's more than 10x it's running power. If your ac is 1000 watt then you'd need a peak capacity of 10000 watt which means probably a 5kva inverter.

I own the fyrenite hyper flame double burner and hated it, its always way to hot with poor low heat control even after lubing the O rings. Interested to know if this has better flame control. Regardless I invested in the Jetboil genesis Basecamp system for a big trip thru central Australia and have never been happier, except for the kids inheritance I had to hand over for it. can we get a side by side flame control comparison with the Colemen and Kings at night so we can see the flame better?

I have the same Coleman with cast iron plate. It’s great in wind & when u need a lot of heat however I was never really happy with it as it would never simmer on low heat & burn food. I used to refill bottle but found they are under $10 at Bunnings so I don’t bother anymore. Kings one looks good but wonder how low heat is….cheers for the review !

There is a hack you can do but latest version, Coleman reduced the amount grease they put in so not as bad as earlier ones…. Google hack hyperflame stove, can simmer very low flame
