Was hoping to see the assembly of the blower from beginning to end. Trying to figure out the brackets for the chute snd which bolts and nuts go in there. So many nuts & bolts left. The reason JD dealers and JD do not have clear instuctions is so they can charge $350 to install. Maddening.

Thank you! Made the assembly make sense!

Put the 2 snow cutters on. Good for cutting down those high drifts and piled up snow. Otherwise, you may end up with a tunnel. Least that is how it is for me.

That electrical harness and heat detector are to prevent the drive shaft and bearing right at that location from overheating , and you just keeping going not knowing they’re getting too hot thus turning them into nice red deformed scrap metal bearings . MY John Deere dealer guy here in Placerville California was a bit better at explaining the do’s and do not’s of my very expensive 54 inch snow blower . I just keep going through the videos and see what I can learn so I can keep it running trouble free for many seasons to come . Like your video .

Johnny I consider myself mechanically in saying that what a project. I would write and call JD and tell them that there manual is not friendly, which is putting a nice way. And that why JD is so expensive . I am surprised that you didn't need a special tool that only JD has. Thanks for sharing Brian

Thanks Brian. Funny you say that. One of the parts came with a sheet that showed a website to get the manuals. they wanted $25.00 to download. :( Anyway, Remember to Subscribe!!!!

Thank you for posting your video.......it helped me immensely with assembling my 54 inch snow blower. The John Deere instructions are extremely far removed from user friendly. I totally understand why people might consider paying for assembly and installation. Rod

Typical John Deere shit to put it mildly. Had nothing but problems with the walk behind one I got. Cables snapping, very slow or no reverse, lights burn out, Thumb switches are always leaving you when you need them the most. Charging module burned out, and carburetor had to be replaced and the belts. Not enough hours of service on it for all that to go bad.
