My uncle just gifted me a 15210, same exact looking watch. Even on my 7 inch wrist, it looks very classy. Nothing but compliments on it so far, and I’ve only had it on my wrist for a day. Blows my mind that for a “like new” replacement band, with packaging…it’s 1500+ bucks. For the band alone. 😳 My second most expensive watch (now) is an MTG that cost as much as this band does to replace! 🤣 I’m a typical Rolex guy… but I’ve got to say… there isn’t much else out there for watches, that looks as good on the wrist. As far as better? I’m sure even fewer.

I own one . Finally . Bought for 2,5k , invested 580€ for complete IWC service . Returned seemingly as good as new . They left the fish crown(!) and the Tritiums . Very good !. Had more IWCs as well . This one will definitely NOT leave me !

On a leather strap you would lose quite a bit of weight off it.

I have had the same exact watch for 20 years. I wear it almost every day and it still looks new. It is the best blue dial I have ever found. I will give it to my son one day!

Nice video. The first generation Planet Ocean is a gorgeous watch. I bought the 42mm version in 2008 and gave it to my father one year later because I "needed" its really big brother, the Planet Ocean Chronograph in orange at a decent height of 18mm. 😁 I have this beast on my wrist as I write this. Three weeks ago my father gave me his Planet Ocean back. He wore it not that often anymore because it felt too heavy for him. This time it will stay with me.

Skx013 is just an underrated charming tool watch. Great size, in trend, wabi sabi japanese feel, sturdy and workhorse movement.. i would choose this watch over any microbrand diver just because seiko makes everything in house.

Rolex at the end. As always. Like it’s somehow the peak watch brand. Those IWCs are significantly better. Nice video though.

I liked your video… although this watch was Daniel Craig’s first Bond watch back in 06. His was actually a monster at 45.5mm! And this is the most beautiful Omega watch ever! To me… the styling came from Omega dive watches from the 50-60s. Just refined and perfected! Beautiful just beautiful!

Date is at 4 o’clock which is a signature of many other Seiko and GS divers and sport watches. In line with crown at same position so it doesn’t dig into your wrist. Further differentiating it from all the other sport and dress GMTs out there. Love my SBGE257 (the green one ;-) Nice review.

It's a man's watch, that can also be worn as a larger-than-average womans watch too. What's not to like about that combo, eh?

Great collection! I’m glad you held onto the Movado and the wood watch … - it’s always fun to see where people started in this hobby. I still have my Shark watch with velcro strap!

My father had the pepsi bezel version (SKX015) since the late 90s but ditched it inside a toolbox for quite a long time. He handed it to me back in 2019 so I had it serviced, replaced the faded original bezel insert to a black aftermarket insert (similar to the 013), and fitted a solid link jubilee bracelet. It's quite small for someone with 7.5-8in wrist but still looks good because of the classic design.
@ABCdotcom Жыл бұрын
The bracelet can't have less than 5 links on the 6 o'clock end, which messes up the balance. I can see you got around it by switching the bracelet around - clever idea. It fits better on the leather strap.

You did a great job describing this watch. I bought this exact watch in November of last year and I have found myself wearing it in so many different situations and with a multitude of outfits and it always works. My favorite experience with this watch is to wear it on a sunny day and watch the sun illuminate the gorgeous blue dial.

Your 15210 34mm Rolex looks so much better than the 39mm you have as the dimensions and proportions of the flatness in the deep round dial and similar outside bezel. Why Rolex discontinued the 34mm series is a tragedy. The new Rolex watches are not just gargantuan and ugly but not practical. I would even have reservations about your 39mm explorer as you will find yourself favoring the 34mm for reasons it will take your lifetime to understand.

Nice video, I am thinking to purchase it, but don't you think it s too expensive for a celita movement you can find on sub 1000 usd watches?

I bought my this bb41 blue, and I seen the new release, but i didn't like it, 1 blue is metallic blue 2 no snow flack on the seconds hand 3 no more smile print on the six o clock 4 the crown is further pushed in the case, might face difficulty to adjust the time Only advantage is the new bracelet jubilee
