The issue here is the cost of the brake performance kit + load cell mod is not too far away from the Simjack UT loadcell pedals upgrade without the base plate.

Before I got the MOZA brake kit, I tried a couple of rubber bottle stoppers from the hardware store (Lowes) Couple bucks no loss if they didnt work. I did stay with the MPZA kit.

I am using the fanatec v3 with load cell at the moment. But theres a lot of static probably because pf age and wear. I have the srp lites just collecting dust on top of my closset. Will this mod be as good as my v3 pedals (before the static)

A load cell measures the force you break with, while the default pedals will measure the positions the pedals are at. So load cells are better for the build up of your muscle memory. Instead of having to break this hard to get to this exact position for the paddle for the corner, you will simply break his hard for this corner.

@@sestenwhen Yes, but sims can only do so much. You would have to change the feel of the pedals with adjustments for every car to make it feel like it should

Like the other comment said - a load cell measures the force you put on the pedal, not the distance you push the pedal down. This is much closer to how a real cars' hydraulic brake system works, so a load cell gives you a more realistic and accurate braking feel. Load cells also let you tune the braking feel to your liking because you can set exactly how much travel and resistance you want in the pedal without sacrificing anything, something that can't be done with a hall effect sensor. If you want to brake more consistently and be able to customize how your brakes feel, a load cell is the way to go.

Im currently using a thrustmaster tlcm and have the srp lites on the wardrobe, will this mod on the lites be better that the tlcm? i would love to stay on the moza eco system and remove the thrustmaster.

So about $100 to get the performance kit and the mod, while the full pedal set is $160? Not sure it’s worth it

It's important to remember that the full SRP pedal set is the exact same thing as the SRP Lite set, just with one different sensor. The Alien Mods load cell also outperforms the official load cell in my opinion. So yeah if you don't already have the performance kit (which many do), it would only be $60 more for a full pedal set but then you're still paying $60 more to get what I think is a worse product.
