Imposter buddies are probably only in story mode

I could see the Imposter Jamboree Buddies going either way. Like, there’s 10 of them, so at most a game will have four disabled so even if they don’t get used in Party Mode, you’d have 6 options. But maybe they do happen so no ability is ever off the table. Can’t really say until we get the game and it gets extensively played. As for the 8th board theory- I’m thinking it’s DLC, if anything. And I do think this game has a better chance than the other Mario Party games on Switch to get it. I’ve talked about it in the past, but Mario Party on Switch has sold CRAZY. 20 million for Super and 12 million for Superstars off of what probably was not super high budgets. But this game looks like it has a much higher budget, so maybe some of that budget went to DLC development post-launch. I could also see this game getting free updates or a paid DLC pack, since Nintendo is no stranger to both. I am hopeful, but not expecting, character updates to shore up some of the missing Super characters like Diddy Kong, Dry Bones, Hammer Bro, and maybe Blooper, since the former is just not in the game as far as I can tell and the latter three are just NPCs in the background on boards and such. And I do think it would make sense for them to add in a board or multiple boards to extend this game’s life even further. Plus, if it’s paid DLC, they can do a Jamboree Deluxe which features all the DLC for the Switch 2! Capitalism! Yay…?

For someone who just made (granted, funny joke) a comment on people not liking change and sticking to popular maps, you sure spent a lot of time complaining about changes in Jamboree, including maps.

I’m taking full point off for no MP 3 board that’s ridiculous. I can already tell this economy is, once again, completely broke. So I see this game landing at a 7 maybe 8 out of 10.

Respect for still holding on to that eighth board theory 😆 I’m gonna be honest I don’t think there’s an 8th board since we saw that theres an in game camera you can use to take pictures of the hub world. But you could still be right, it definitely is an odd design choice…

Also I genuinely cannot believe that Jamboree Buddies seem to be forced in the Pro Mode. Definitely shouldn’t have been, I dunno how I feel about it 🤷‍♂️ but I’m still excited.

Creepy Cavern is very likely it is kinda horror themed and Halloween is right around the corner, so it would make sense but we also know it's NDCube so lets hope for the best

How many are normal button pressing mini games and how many are motion control mini games and how many normal mini games are going to be in the standard board play if you set the rules to no motion control games Or it's 110 mini games. Counting the rhythm ones /motion control, and the button pressing ones

To be fair on there being 109 stamps, 66 of them will be character specific. Every character has one “Hi!”, “Yes!”, and “What!?” sticker which is exclusive to that character. There’s still a lot of stickers you have for reactions to sift through, which isn’t the greatest, but it’s not as daunting as 109 seems at first glance. Also, I think what they mean by one bonus star is that it takes one bonus star from the pool of bonus star options. Like how in Superstars, when you played random bonus Star options, it’ll choose 2 (or 3 at 30 turns) so in the championship rules, it’ll be just one picked from the list. As for the single player mode, I think it looks interesting and is a fun option for when you don’t have anyone to play with. And like, worst case scenario, you only need to play through it once to unlock anything, so even if it’s bad, it’s a one and done thing. Provided you need to do it to unlock anything in the first place, obviously. And yeah, that Broozer might be hinting at a hidden extra board. Like, I’m definitely hopeful (but not holding my breath for) post launch content, since I’d love Diddy Kong as a DLC character. And I think, given how much bigger this game is compared to previous Switch Mario Parties, it’s not totally impossible. Like, this game looks like it has a CRAZY budget compared to the last two, and maybe some of that budget will go to DLC. I could see paid DLC, I could see a simple like, free extra update or two with like, 2-4 characters and one extra board from 3. …Or it might just be a goofy little ghost guy trying to beat up a wall. I dunno. There’s so much cool stuff in this game and I am super excited!

As long as story mode is where we only have to contend against the ai in mini-games I’m fine with that.

10:04 erm actually, every character has 3 unique reaction/stickers/stamps, so 22x3=66, 109-66= 43 soooo there are only 46 stickers to use with each character, superstars has 67 apparently, so 30 character unique stickers meaning there are 40 stickers to use with any given character so there are only 6 more stickers then superstars :DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

If you land on a bowser space with an ally you spin the roulette twice but the effect is not doubled. In the image it shows the Luigi loses 15 coins from bowser and then bowser says something like “you’re not going anywhere” and he takes you back to spin again. In the next image it shows the Same Luigi with one less star so that means that he lost a star.

pretty sure the single bonus start in the championship rules is that it picks one of the 3 bonus stars also looks like there’s 1 OR 2 of each item in the shop that arent ever restocked and the “5” options in the bowser space i believe are just different ways of saying ur gonna lose a star
