Might want to consider Proximity lauchers in the missle slots though instead of the burst pd, ive found them to be a great catch all weapon, great agaisnt armour, fighters, missles, or anything else that gets too close!

I like it! Needlers and phase lance force a catch 22 on them. Eat a ton of flux against the needlers, or accept that nice helping of hull and armour damage from the lances!

What the hell? The first thing this melodic nightmare fuel does is go into phase (and flank me) anytime I fight it. Why is it letting you bombard it uningerrupted? Is it good with AI control? I'm not the best at piloting ship, so I always let the AI control my ships

The Medusa is a bad ship for the AI and a great ship for the player to control. The Medusa has excellent energy and shield characteristics, like all high-tech ships, but unlike high-tech ships, the jellyfish has 2 universal weapon slots (the hyperion also has such a slot) and the smartest thing you can do is install the cheapest machine guns in them point protection in 3 points of equipment. Also install a point defense machine gun on the Hyperion. The main disadvantage of high-tech ships is the impossibility of installing ballistic weapons on them, which are better than energy weapons in everything, in DPS, in energy efficiency in specialization against shields or armor.

AHAHAH, I have edited my game files to give me unlimited ship cap and no CR reducing bullshit. Ive then proceeded to wipe out all of the Remnants and got myself around 40-50 of them bad boys, put a alpha AI in half of em and some superior Ai in some too and then destroyed anything in my way. WHAT HEGEMONY? What will they to against a never ending cycle of these ships? Good times.

Weird, but interesting build. I've never seen someone leave both the small energy slots and the missile slots empty, but it works here, and I can't deny its effectiveness.
