What makes this whole thing 10x dumber is that earlier in the episode Christopher offered Jackie Jr. to get in on a truckjacking but he turned it down because he's with Ralph. He could've made a score and won points with Christopher, instead he chose to rob his card game and got himself killed because of it

Eh ur right that Tony is a hypocrite, but in Tony’s defense, this situation was much more serious than his. Nobody was killed or hurt when he and Jackie sr robbed feechs card game. These jumped up little pricks on the other hand killed an associate who was running their game and shot furio, a made man. Tony Couldn’t have step in for him even if he WANTED to without losing face with his crew and choosing some spoiled little crash out over his own soldiers. The most he could do was pass the buck onto Ralph so he himself didn’t have to give the order to have his best friends son wacked, or so that the fallout from giving him a pass wouldn’t be on him if Ralph chose to do that.

People don’t seem to realize that the reason Jackie didn’t stop for Dino is because he could see Chris and Albert right behind him. If he stopped they would’ve killed them both.

Jackie Jr. should've taken Tony's advice and stayed out of the mob life. Stay in school, become a doctor, or a lawyer. A better life his old man wanted him to have. Instead, he did the opposite and ended up getting popped. Like tony said, He Bottomed out.

Technically if Dino escaped, there would be nothing linking the robbery to Jackie or Dino. All the Sopranos crew will have is just some random dead guy. While Chrissy may have suspicions, as long as both Dino and Jackie says they were just getting high off somewhere, they probably would have been safe.
