The brilliance of this scene, is that we never stop to think about how dangerous Christopher is because he’s always surrounded by other super dangerous characters. He is likable. We feel for him. But when he is with normal civilians, it’s clear how intense and dangerous he is. You say the wrong thing and you might get a beating, or worse. And if it’s just a fist fight, it’s not gonna be a schoolyard fight, he’s going to hurt you (again, or worse) with no boundaries
@godfather43772 жыл бұрын
He's the most dangerous character on the show. Because if you set him off, there's no telling what he will do. He picked a fight with Patsy. Threw food at Vito. Both were made men. Chris didn't care. Shot up Tony's car (the boss - who else would do that?). And he was on drugs half the time making it worse.

Moral of the story: Don't pal around with people who can hurt you and get away with it, specially if they have bombastic larger than life personalities. Your life is at a whim in the worst case scenario, and your dignity and self-respect at best. I knew a sheikh from an Arab Gulf country's royal family that I hung out with occasionally a couple of decades ago. Now he's one of the sweetest best educated guys I know, and a reasonably well-known public personality. One day at a party at his place his cousin showed up, who's the worst stereotype of oil sheikhs. As soon as he got some drinks into him things started getting out of hand, and soon he started picking on the biggest baddest dude around. To cut a long story short a gun was drawn, the 'bad dude' who thought his civilian machismo worked in the setting got shot and peed on, and taken out on a stretcher. If it weren't for my friend rather gently curbing his cousin that guy would've been dead. The kicker is that after all that blew over and most people left, I asked my friend why he invited/didn't kick his cousin out earlier, and he looked at me like I was crazy and said that he can't not invite/kick his royal cousin! And at that moment it hit me, we're all 'civilians' to these guys who won't risk a beef with another royal to protect, much like the mafia with made guys and civilians, the military and civilians, the uber rich and civilians ..and so on. Once you enter those circles as a fly on the wall there's a chance you'll get humiliated, hurt, or worse. Stay with your people whom you understand and can predict.

@@WaltPDABADGUY the acquaintance/friendship with this guy was a great learning experience. How they use money to entangle people. How the plan for an outing is always what they want ...etc. It's not like they're blunt or assholes about it. It's just the way it is, and the power dynamic is so lopsided because of money and power that even when they have a kitten's disposition it doesn't matter, you can't/won't press anything too much like you would with a 'real' friend, so you just go along for the ride. It's alright for guys, but I've seen it ruin many many MANY young women who just can't go back to normal 9-5 lives and end up being passed around before they're discarded never to regain their old selves again. Like, if you're a 20 something year old middle class hottie, and you stumble into that group through their party fixers, and next thing you know you're on a private jet to Japan because the main dude felt like sushi, and spend a weekend of magical partying and sight-seeing with other rich, cool, and influential people, how do you deal with Joe Six-pack asking you out for a date after that?
