I have no idea what is going on. I'm from the Appalachian Deep South and I recently came across Japanese bluegrass music. It's like finding out that Inazo Nitobe was a Quaker, er..... Samurai

Wonderful and perhaps a bit ironic that I should find this song this way... I am a huge fan of Japanese music in general; both military music, traditional music, and songs that were introduced to me through anime which would fall somewhere into a hardrock/metal/J-pop spectre if I had to rank it as such. I had no idea this song existed, and I found this channel because of its Japanese versions of non-Japanese military songs (which I love a lot, by the way). I do really, really love this song a lot. I do actually even feel like, and this may sound silly, that had I been a student, and known this song, that I might have used it to get inspiration and motivation, in order to deal with the average school day. I mean, I'm 32 now, but still, I do often use military music to listen to, in order to motivate myself for the average working day, so that is that. Either way. Great song, great job, I loved it a lot!

As a Southerner I approve. For Dixieland!

I wanna visit Dixieland one day , However, Southern locals probably don't appreciate my Japanese (Asian looking, but not like nerd) presence any more than I do any unpleasant foreigner visiting my country. 👉👈

These are some really bad translations. Just picking one example, "I made the banjo twank" obviously refers to plucking/playing the banjo (バンジョーを弾く), but he saw the word "made" and translated it as "make/create the banjo" (バンジョーを作る)
Oh my God, this is NOT how I find out this song is about a fucking fried onion
