You do realise that Alice Springs has one of Australia’s largest global tourist attractions right? Ever heard of Uluru (Ayres Rock)?

The Murray River is not the boundary between NSW and Victoria - in fact the River does not flow through Victoria at all (excluding flood). The boundary is the top of the southern bank of the river. This was clarified by the High Court in Ward v the Queen in 1981. Mr Ward was charged in a Victorian court with murdering a man standing at the edge of the water, some 20 feet below him. The High Court held that a murder occurs at the place where the deceased was at the time of the action causing death; that action was was the entry of the bullet. The Court held that the State boundary was the top of the southern bank and so the deceased was in NSW when murdered. This sounds trivial and lawyers wasting public time and money. For Mr Ward, it was not at all trivial - the penalty for murder in NSW was life imprisonment, but in Victoria it was death. The conviction was quashed, and Mr Ward promptly charged in NSW. He pleaded guilty and received his sentence. I don't know if the usual course was followed and he was released into the community on licence after serving 20 or so years in prison, or he remained in prison for life.

Does 8,000 mi in diameter doesn't seem so far-fetched that we would need to be that much higher than the International Space Station to be able to tell that it was spherical in the three dimensional sphere❤❤❤

This is the most stupidest and unnecessary video I’ve ever seen. You basically just described resolution restraints on a pc or mobile. Of course a may that’s been scaled is gonna show all the names and of course a pc being zoomed out is going to narrow down the amount of content and names shown 🤦. You might as well zoom out and view the entire galaxy and place the name “earth” over a trillion stars

Alice Springs is located on the map because it is an important site to indigenous people. Because it is where Uluru is located. It’s an important religious site to local indigenous groups. It’s also the biggest town in the area by far.
