In the Americas, at least where I have seen, the prickly pears grow in patches of a few meters but nothing crazy , so seeing such large areas of land invaded like in those photos feels surreal.

Google is rubbish with masses missing. A very old atlas here has lots more. A long time ago nrma put out lots of maps of Australia with everything and all the roads, even dirt and listed.

American here. I like Marmite and Vegemite. Vegemite is better. I like the celery taste. Overall it's reminiscent of bullion. 10/10 would spread on toast or use as an ingredient in BBQ sauce.

Thank You soo much , Interested in the ports and how they work, thank you very much for the information. Blessings to your family and friends, also to all those men and women who work day after day to keep our markets full, our stores full, our gasoline there when we need it. God greatly bless all those who worked, those who work and those who are going to work and their families.

The fact they figured this shit out let alone hand crafted these huge lenses in the 1800s is crazy. The erra of innovators is dead. Now everyone is so focused on get rich quick cheaply made products that serve no purpose to humanity. Sad.

Wow! Interesting comment about the world's most famous bridge. You did place a visual question mark over that claim within the video, and right off the top of my head Forth bridge, Tower bridge and even the bridge at Remargen came to mind ( I deliberately left out Syd Harb to ensure non-partisanship 🤭). Maybe a topic for a future video. Hey, I love your presentations. They are fascinating. Excellent work.

*I work in transport and logistic so I've seen the digitalization and automation process in the course of my career. As of now it has only brought benefits. Honestly the need for human supervision and decision making will not disappear in the future. There are a lot of technical and legal variables that impact the export and import processes on very short notices where you need someone to take the correct action in a matter of minutes. I talking about normal operations. When you have emergencies (eg whether, incidents, etc) well human oversight is even more important. In case compliments for the video, I don't see very often people providing correct info about the magical world of shipping and forwarding *

Many people would say that for much of its length, the Murray River in Australia formed the boundary between the States of NSW and Victoria, and talk as if the boundary were the midpoint of the river. It's not - and in fact the whole length of the river from source to the South Australian border is in NSW. The boundary is the southern bank of the river - and that means the top of the southern bank of a full river. This may sound likes a lawyer's pedantry, but far from it. It was vital to Mr Ward. He'd been standing at the top of the bank, when he fired a shot killing a man standing at the water's edge, some 20 feet or so below him. He was tried and convicted in Victoria and sentenced to the mandatory death sentence. It's worth pointing out that the then Premier of Victoria (ie, the head of the Victorian government) would not have had the sentence commuted. He appealed and the question came to be considered by the High Court. That court held that the murder occurred at the place where the victim was (nothing at all novel in that), and that while Mr Ward was in Victoria, his victim was in NSW. The State boundary ws the top of the riverbank. His conviction was quashed and Mr Ward was charged in NSW. He pleaded guilty and was given the mandatory sentence of life imprisonment. Sorry, I can't tell you if he in fact served the whole sentence in gaol, or was released on licence after the usual 15 years or so.

Trump and Israel ( but to be more accurate all of America) seem to be on an irrational collision course. Over Israel’s assistant that they Genocide the Palestinian people, and since America has all but declared freedom of speech over a really rather depressing and insignificant few calling for the rights of Palestine. More then ever it seems two sides will let go of their prejudice and let the bombs fly. And long story short, that will effect our exploitation of Middle Eastern resources, OIL, and our ability to ship it mainly through the Strait of Hormuz, meaning GAS IS GOING TO BE EXPENSIVE,AND THROUGH A MARKET BASED ON EXPLOITATION, A CITIZENRY BASED ON CONSUMPTION, THAT COULD MEAN SHUTDOWN OF MAJOR PARTS OF OUR ECONOMY AND UNREST REAL SOON.
