Only three servers up currently. Two US and one EU. They are stressing them hard. Long load times for existing characters... for some reason your position in the que seems to go up or stagnate. So I've created five new characters today just to get back into the game quicker after having to drop due to a bug or unstable server issues. Get ready to test!

I mean, it's a alpha test. Aren't you supposed to be actively seeking the "bad" so to speak? The broken, the unfinished, the exploits ? It's not a preview of a full game, it's a test ..lol It's weird how people think it's a full, ready to play game.

@@irishsage2459 I think human nature will have us wanting to compare it vs things we've played, and if we're comparing an alpha to a real game in every way it's setting improper expectations. Functionally what you said is right, but expectations may be a lot different based on what you think you're getting.

The #1 thing to know is how awful it is. No way they spent 7 years on this, no fucking way.

It's a test. It is an iteration of the content, mechanics, and the map for testing purposes. Every game does this. They are intentionally minimizing what's available to track bugs and more effectively progress the game. Tbf the reason the game is taking so fucking long is because it's being entirely funded by the person running the company and the kickstarter backers/anyone who has purchased any packages. They are not working with any investors. They specifically want to maintain their goals and values without some greedy old fart telling them what they can and can't do. They have less than 200 developers from my understanding, and that's more recent. In this stage most games wouldn't be publicly known of. The reason for the publicity is for transparency and input from people who love the mmorpg genre. Don't be a hater just because other games have failed. Be hesitant sure, but also look at what the facts are and recognize the differences.
