Not so sure about the 120-140 torque numbers even though that's what the manual note. I tried tightening them to 120, worked on one of them okay but broke off the other one.

When I mount the transducer on the trolling motor if I fish of the back of the boat do I turn it around thanks
@clintster4945Күн бұрын
Great video, I have a 250HO and the manual trim on the motor works fine, up and down. The trim on the throttle both up and down only pushes the motor up. Even the down button pushes the motor up. Thinking it’s in the throttle assembly??
@1Cast1FishКүн бұрын
I would lean on something not right with the throttle assembly button...look for any loose or corroded wires/switch

@dginta7932 you can mount it there, especially if the unit is up on the bow. If the unit is on the console I would mount near rear of boat

The Force trolling motor is no longer on my boat! After several more issues and dealing with customer service I purchased another Minn Kota Ultrex this morning! Garmin replaced the head, the mount, bushings (twice) foot pedal and what put me over the top was a system error that I’m supposed to look on the remote to see what caused it! I didn’t know to do that! Sorry Garmin to much BS!

First the jig must be within the transducer cone...use a wide sonar frequency...up the sensitivity or gain in manual. Normally gain must be in 75% and above

Thanks for your informative video. Not that you are to blame, but it is a little surprising how a $122 Fish Finder (the basic version) totals over $300 when you include the minimal basic accessories you have listed. Ouch! There are less expensive mounts and batteries available if you look around.
@1Cast1Fish14 күн бұрын
@@janman55 I agree, that’s always the way it seems. You can save some money though by mounting the fish finder directly to the kayak or using an off brand mount instead of RAM. Also the battery comes in a smaller 4.4ah version that is cheaper…again or you can go off brand or even standard small lead acid battery to save even more. This is just my setup and due to use and abuse I wanted the best I could find, it has lasted years now without issue…that’s why I like these items in particular. Hope this helps a bit

So kayaking on a river that runs 1-10ft with random pockets of depths to 25ft using vivid clearvu 800KHz would be no problems at all correct? Edit: I'm planning on buying a ERYY Lithium LiFePO4 12V 25Ah battery. Any idea how long I'll be able to run this set up on the river before needing to recharge? Only thing I have found so far is the Garmin uses 1amp when using gps.

@1Cast1Fish the only thing that doesn't come back up is the speed? Time, water temp, debth, and Compas don't go anywhere just the speed disappeares when I cut it off. I can't figure it out.

Something that's striking (😅) to me is the higher screen resolution spec on the Stryker 4 model compared to the Plus or CV. Is the lower res on the more expensive models noticeable in real-world use?
@1Cast1Fish18 күн бұрын
I think the other factor is that the Vivid and CV have a slightly larger screen area and that messes with the resolution. I honestly can not tell a difference
