u want to change ur gonna need to change your contra spring or clutch completely, if you cant get anything out of your rollers anymore u need to change how much the rear pulley timing, going with harder clutch springs can also help negate the lost in acceleration if u go too hard in contraspring

@@GhettoWrench normally the same rollers should be fine but its always good measure to want as heavy rollers as possible as that directly impacts the weight of the power being transmitted

How wide is the mounting bracket/ location for the an400 I’m looking at making and adapter bracket to put it in a icebear vision
@GhettoWrench
@GhettoWrench 18 сағат бұрын
@removeableskull7446 it's a crazy pivoting dual axle type bracket on top. But I think you could not even use that since it just uses that to mount it to the frame. You could just use the mount on the motor itself. A hole with a big axle looking bolt going thru it. It is 7.25" wide. Then the lower mount would be what is the shock mount under the suzuki. Or not even use that lower mount and find a place to attach a shock on the CVT like a maddog does.

Yes. You are absolutely right. I have a 2024 Honda Ruckus that came with 7g rollers weight. The top speed is 43mph. I put 6g rollers on it and have better acceleration with the same top speed. Then I put 5.5g rollers on it and believe it or not 5.5g is the sweet spot. I love it. Later on I decided to put the Polini Variator on it and tried every rollers weight and Sliders and I don’t like it so I stick with the stock variator with 5.5g. Hey man when do when installing my new gears, for some reason my new shaft doesn’t want to go into the bearing on the motor side. @ when I gave my gears to the shop, the pressed it for a fee. I brought it home, took a look at it and it looked a lil crooked. I figured by not that much. When I installed it. I spun the rear wheel and for some reason just on certain spots of the rotation, it stops and have a hard time to continue spinning. Took it out. Called the shop and they said that there isn’t anything they can do all they know is that they pressed it as they should. Sucks I think I lost out, I tried the use two large sockets on each end to mallet one side. No luck, I think next time I will make sure that that gear is pressed on there good before paying the shop. @rodolfogarces903 So I have done a 28mm PWK and Cam on two different stock 150s. Both results were great. The issue was the 115mm variator. The new engine made power to faster with the 115 variator. The older 150 went the same amount faster with cam and carb, but would not make enough power for the 115mm variator. It went slower with the 115 and faster with the stock 107mm variator. So there is a fine line there
