FYI that's 40 gigabits per second, not gigabytes. Still >80x faster than any DAC would need, though.

Why would anyone need a far to large and not flexible enough USB cable? To transfer 40G/s of data to a dac? That's a serieus waste of money imho.

As the owner of various dongles and plantars IM and full-size headphones honestly I would say no baby. It's been my experience that pairing a powerful generally give you the best results even when the company says this planet doesn't take much to drive don't believe the hype planets require power and when you give them clean power they will sound fantastic
