As someone who prefers ISTP, this was very on point. We have Microsoft teams chat that through the course of the day, discussions pop up that do not involve me at best, or just a casual discussion that has nothing to do with work. I know this is key to promoting inclusion, but it simply irks me. I chose to demote after being named Director before the pandemic, because I detested the spontaneous meetings. It is the 2nd time I was approached about becoming a Director, and it has left me burnt out to where now I am tentative on seeking a job to where I can showcase my knowledge in my field Thank you INFJinxed!

what is the logic behind swapping types, like for example the EJ's except the esfj?

As an INTJ after learning about MBTI I became a lot more aware that I'm terrible at brainstorming wildly and anything that has to do with Fe and Si cognitive functions. I don't think I use them except when consciously deciding to use them. Ni can kinda take some of the roles of Si as I think it can kinda vaguely tell what has changed from the past etc.

I test one point higher for Thinking than for Feeling. I identify as INxP, which many KZbinrs insist is not possible. I like your explanation, but I identify so closely with both sides. I personally don't see that much of a difference, it's just different aspects of how I deal with things. A lot of times it's situational as to whether I do more thinking or feeling, but they're always both there and compliment each other.

Do the INTP personality type have moral principles or a moral conscience at all??? Because they are very logical and calculating, if something is logically more beneficial than various aspects, such as financial benefit, emotional benefit, or sexual benefit, etc., but they have to do something that is not ethical in the eyes of others, such as lying, cheating, etc.?? Usually?? Anyone can help.
@ashercorbett808918 күн бұрын
11:30 are you saying it’s kinda like ENTPs are more stubborn in logical and factual truths, and a bit more wish washy and easily influenced by others when it comes to beliefs or morals, And ENFPs are more stubborn when it comes to beliefs and morals, but more wishy washy and easily influenced by what people say is logically sound, accurate, or factual? Cause that would make pretty good sense to me being an ENTP 😂

Love your work but why didn't you even mention INTP type 4? It's usually regarded as the 2nd or 3rd most common type for INTPs.

Thank you for this video, I watch it whenever I need to connect with myself. As a Fe ego type I find it conceptually confusing to distinguish the concept of self with the function of Fi. On one hand people often associate knowing yourself with understand your own feelings which has to do with Fi but on the other hand we know that the Ego is our self identity, which for me revolves around Fe , which is related to external feelings and society.

WOW - especially to the last few minutes about Fi/Ti wholeness do I resonate the most, like - yes! 100% This. You know

Realists tend to accept the complexities of life, including the existence of negative experiences such as bullying or unfair treatment. They are more likely to view these challenges as part of life, allowing them to move on and focus on practical solutions. Their approach to adversity is often grounded in a sense of pragmatism, enabling them to recognize that while bad things happen, they can learn and grow from these experiences. Idealists, on the other hand, may have a more emotional response to such experiences. They might view bullying or being hurt as significant injustices and could feel a strong sense of unfairness. Idealists are often guided by their values and beliefs about how the world should be, which can lead to feelings of disappointment when reality doesn’t align with their ideals. This mindset might result in them dwelling on negative experiences more than realists do, possibly leading to feelings of self-pity or a desire for a more compassionate world.

Thank you as always for your valuable insights. I am completely baffled that E5s are not part of this group. As an enneagram 5w6, I have been promoted to the position of Director twice in my career, for no other reason except for my knowledge of the field. I was not seeking the positions, and had no interest in taking them. After each promotion, it took me years to recover. In fact I am still trying to recover from burnout in my last position as Director.

Thanks a million for sharing.I want you to help me with something(please,please,please). When i am alone my default thinking or processing style is imagined conversation.It may be with a friend,family,stranger or even myself.Its like i am explaning myself(my feelings,emotions,thoughts or an abstract concept i read).Sometimes it gets heated and i get carried away until i tell myself to snap out of it. Which of the 8 functions manifest in such a way..I am confused.Please help

i did the mbti test and got INTJ. i could relate a lot to the traits so i didn’t question it. bit when i did the enneagram test i got 8w7. i thought i did it wrong so i did it multiple times😂. i din’t know intj could also be 8w7.😅

The reason why I don't get into deep meaningful conversations with people is because they aren't usually deep and or meaningful in their communication. I can see right through people and know when they are authentically trying to get to know me. That's when the floodgates open and you have a real conversation that has depth and growth.

Idk what I am anymore I’m imaginative and I enjoy daydreaming when I have nothing to do and think about my future me etc. but I’m also practical although I’d like to stay opened minded and I have stuff that I can geek out about and talk about on and on and on… I still like to slay practical and I dislike going down a rabbit hole of something that cannot happen,requires to much imagination (especially if I can’t imagine myself actually there in the sensory for a better image),and I very much dislike ppl who act very delulu .

This comes at the perfect time. Discovered your channel a few days ago after taking an mbti test recently and trying to piece everything together. Didn't know much about Enneagram until last week. - an ENFJ / Type 2 and huge fan of Jungian archetypes
@bongamin82 ай бұрын
*Edit: i typed too quickly while listening. You mentioned it afterwards. By the way I believe what you start talking about around 7min and refer to as essence I feel is exactly the discovery Jung made after travelling the world and studying people's dreams: the collective unconscious. That part is really fascinating.

How to tell if infj 2 has interest to talk with someone they know online for 3 days😅 like its true his Fe is clear already but he dont take the lead to talk which is either means hes not intrested or something has to do with being infj 2 (?) Like are these types togathers makes one be shy?

Hello and thank you so much for this. Do you think it's possible to stay within your first two functions and use your dominant or auxiliary function (whichever is introverted) to help you set boundaries, since we are more comfortable using the first two functions in our stack?

As an INTP, I don't usually absorb the values of people around me. It depends on the value. If it makes sense then maybe I absorb it. If not then I don't. Most of the time, I don't. Basically Ti comes first.

INTJ, here. Te likes feedback, constructive criticism and overall the opinions of others. Te also helps with productivity, along side efficiency. Te likes achievements, accolades and reputation. Unhealthy Te can be domineering and controlling. It can also be critical of others, totally disregard empathy as well as others emotions. It doesn't care how it makes you feel. I'm not justifying toxic behavior nor condone it. A lot of people are unaware of their toxic behavior and don't self-reflect. If anyone is unhealthy, go get some help ie counseling, family involvement etc.
