Miquella gave his sister arms and legs to fight with so why would she fight for anyone else.The needle isn't sinister it stops rot aka DEATH. He's stalling her death. Malenia chooses to die for her brother and make sure Radahn keeps his promise... theres a reason the final fight is called PROMISED CONSORT. Its in the name. Radahn isn't one to lie about an oath either... He PROMISED Miquella that he would be his consort. Just like he PROMISED Jerren to die honorable death(why he fights so hard against the rot) This was meant to be a reply to someone rip.

ehhh... I don't think this evidence is strong at all. Using the term "The First Dragonborn to serve Hermaeus Mora" and "The Last Dragonborn to Serve Hermaeus Mora" is just a very awkward usage of those words considering there is only two. It is far more likely that it would be "The First of the Dragonborn" implying he was the strongest of them at the time, and or literally just the first dragonborn in Tamriel that they knew of. And the last dragonborn being the last dragonborn could be literal but it could also be a statement of strength. The last dragonborn is the most powerful to ever live and will likely be the most power to ever live going into the future as well.

The problem is not that game was easy to play for free. There was so many ways to make profit: they was able to make premium avatars, battlefields and some other stuff for real money. Biggest problem for the game from the beginning to the end was lack of marketing. I remember times when ads of Gwent was everywhere. But official promotion of Legends was just Pete Heins playing the game on his stream (still, thanks to him), few trailers and few tournaments. Just some Zenimax fools decided that game doesn't need promotion. And now we are here.

I always thought it was kinda random for Miraak to be the literal "first" dragonborn. It just never really made sense to me why out of all the dragonpriests, Akatosh would bless Miraak

i think this might be true in sekiro too. When owl takes sekiro in to be a puppet in his plan, he cuts at his left eye. Interestingly, when he turns shura (the shura skin), his right eye seems to be overcome with the flame of hatred and he has an eyepatch on it. Isshin also has his left eye out, although idk what that would mean.

At 38:50, when talking about the player character of Skyrim, and how they are mostly likely blessed by Akatosh. It is possible that their parents were Dragonborn and the PC just didn’t know it since they are coming into their powers during the course of the game’s story. You can make the conclusion that their PC’s parents were dormant Dovahkiin. Dragonborn’s who hadn’t had the opportunity to awaken their abilities since the last “recorded” Dragonborn was Martin Septim who died 200 years prior.

Here's the thing with tracking dragonborn status: he's a fucking time god. He can literally redact shit. Someone warming the throne in between dragonborn emperors? Suddenly, they were always dragonborn. Someone violates your will who's got the blood? Redact them from the club. Some random civilian gets wrapped up in the emergence of Alduin? Who knows. There's also however the issue that the divines are asleep. They, in many ways, do not have will of their own anymore, not in the way mortals and daedra do. I believe that many of these cases, like katariah, tiber, and even like reman, made *themselves* dragonborn through deeds, which by the nature of the gift, casts itself back through time. We *know* this was the case with one in particular. A wood elf turned high elf who reshaped his entire life and birth with a ritual concerning the amulet of kings, and mehrune's razor. I believe that the ritual of lighting the dragonfire is what makes you dragonborn, retroactively, dragonbreaking your past so you were *always* dragonborn. Miraak himself likely got his knowledge of becoming dragonborn from hermaeus mora, as one of their first transactions. Mora's knowledge is timeless, collected from every moment in time, and consolidated in apocrypha, which does not have time, all at once. The knowledge of this ritual would have existed at the time. Miraak would have succeeded in this ritual, but already doomed to be locked in apocrypha, his ability to dragonbreak his past was shorted out, resulting in his mediocrity. But, his legend inspires others to know it was possible, leading to others like wulfharth chasing the legend, becoming more famous than miraak himself. Shezzarines are such an interesting conversation to add to this, since they so often overlap, despite the ontological opposition between lorkhan and akatosh. Personally, i believe that the amulet of kings was made from lorkhan's heart, not akatoshes. It safeguards the realm he built, it thrums in the heart of pelinal, it allowed the creation of the mantella and activated the numidium, it simply makes more sense. Akatosh may have been using it, but it in no way resembles his power.

Clearly, dragonblood isn't hereditary at all. Whether you are or aren't dragonborn has nothing to do with anything and is bestowed upon the whims and fancies of akatosh except what is akatosh anyway? Auriel? Alkosh? Alduin? Time dad god? I think we all knew the real answer all alone is that Bethesda was too lazy to write logical lore for this and contradict themselves so often the discussion of what is and isn't canon loses all value as a subject of conversation and you and everyone else may as well headcanon whatever you want because why not. It's no more or less coherent that what Bethesda is writing anyway Tldr: retcons with every release and patch

I hate this frenzy torch being nanayas/midras child theory. The evidence is weak as fuck, just nanaya holding her stomach. and the torch description directly contradicts this idea. A MAN from an AGE long past and a FAR AWAY LAND???? how can you be from a far away land when you were apparently conceived and born in your resting place??? you literally cannot get less distant. and we don't know how old the manse is or how long midra has endured his torture, but within midras lifetime doesn't sound like a whole different AGE to me. I get that its a "small" spinal column. but that could just be an incomplete spinal column. though she does cradle it. in terms of suffering, nanaya already had a method of causing suffering through the inquisitions torture and destruction of midras knowledge/ servants/ friends. having a child be killed is kind of unnecessary at that point. having the child be the torch wouldn't really tell us anything narratively it would just be a neat twist. its redundant with the inquisition. it makes more sense for the torch description to be purely literal, this torch is evidence of nanayas quest. That midra is just one attempt of hers to bring about the lord of frenzied flame, that she's tried before and will try again, perhaps as shabriri, perhaps as hyetta.

So when it's the races of men, it's racism, but when it's the elves, it's just a 'superiority complex...' Got it. Pro-elf sentiment is the same as pro-empire sentiment: foolish. None of it makes sense, just like Riga saying "Talos preserve us" right before she's killed along with the general that just gave up like a coward. They don't even have the gall to be in sync with their own beliefs, they are just rats. Same with the elves, they are racists through and through, they will NEVER treat the races of men, or the beast races, with the respect everyone deserves. So they deserve none either, or else they will spoil the whole world. Nip it in the bud, bud.
@K.S-w5s5 күн бұрын
At the end of the day, if all the races supported by the Thalmor can see that the empire is dying, and the Thalmor is rising, what would ever keep them from immediately turning around and supporting the Thalmor? Maybe 20% of people would be willing to fight against a group that outwardly supports them, on the grounds of morality and righteousness; the overwhelming majority, however, would (perhaps smartly, but cowardly) join the Thalmor and start professing the same ideology... They would never "go against the tribe" we could say... I'll let the megaminds really think about what I'm saying and see if they can put the puzzle pieces together linking Elder Scrolls lore to real life history... Down with the Thalmor, down with the Aldmeri Dominion, down with elves! The Age of Man is now!

There is no distinction between Alessia/Reman Dragonborn & Miraak/Wulfharth/LDB Dragonborn. It's much more reasonable that Dragonborn all have completely different intrinsic abilities that make them utterly dissimilar except the term Dragonborn itself. It's not weird at all that Miraak, Wulfharth & LDB all possess the exact same intrinsic abilities, yet Alessia/Reman's descendants all share literally 0 traits or powers in common aside from Talos, who is the same "kind" of Dragonborn as Miraak/LDB. Except, my mistake, Talos can't be the same "kind" cause they're all the same. Despite the complete lack of uniting or remotely similar abilities between Miraak/LDB & Alessia/Reman's family. Wow. Very enlightening.

Since you can play the Dovakiin as any race then it is from Akatosh , and not just a family tree . Katariah may have taken over the day to day rule , but the one that lit the fire when he became emperor was still alive just not sitting on the throne . Therefore the fires still burned , and she could rule .

So in theory couldn't the Skyrim protagonist have a claim to the throne of the empire? While I doubt that there would be a lot of support right off the bat, they are dragonborn and if the claimed the amulet of kings and the dragon fires being lit again could bolster some legitimacy to their claim. And I think regardless the way the civil war plays out either way as a trusted legionaire or a right hand man to High-King Ulfric the dragonborn has significant sway in at least Skyrim politics. If the Dark Brotherhood quests are cannon, even if it is not necessarily the dragonborn that does it, the emperor is now dead, the perfect time for a successor to claim the throne. Of course I doubt Bethesda would make anything like that cannon, but I just had the thought.
