Wow, I had the "earthbone" title for this game. It was my favourite game through much of 2015-6. I'll miss it.

I'll never not see Trina as the selfish one and Miquella the selfless one Trina would rather Miquella die then have the world be united. Miquella will sacrifice himself to give birth to a perfect God if it means eternal peace. Trina doesn't want this fate for Miquella (who wants to be a Martyr) and knows that Miquella dying means she dies with him, rather then Miquella being gone but not really, and her stuck in this chasm for eternity. Basically, Miquella and Trina suffer for the world is what Miquella wants. The world suffers but Miquella and Trina die peacefully is what Trina wanrs

I feel as though some people bring their real world politics into discussions about skyrim. Like, because a real world group did something wrong, they will compare the stormcloaks to that real world group and get angry. Let the real world politics be real world stuff, and let fantasy world stuff be fantasy world stuff. Thats why its a fantasy world, to be an escape from the real world. And even if there is evil or controversial stuff in the world of skyrim, thats good! Because a role playing game is supposed to have the option to be good, evil, or morally grey. You cant have an authentic role playing game if you censor the evil actions

I think balgruf was more interesting. I mean, he had family drama going on. Who is Ulfric in the regard? vague theories about elisif? is he geh hay? the nationalistic nords would have been suss as hell about it well written character would be; a side-quest where you find out Ulfric is having an affair with a dark elf, or better yet an argonian

I knew the Thalmor were supremacists. But i hate that it took me this long to realize they are a pretty direct metaphor for the Nazi party.

Ways to fix the stormcloaks is easy, further clarification of the "Asset" line, and fixing the "Racism" problem. There should be Morrowind agents and local dunmer assisting the stormcloaks to create a buffer state and an ally neighbor to dissuade the empire from returning to Morrowind. and as thanks for the refuge given to them. The distrust of the dark elves can remain, but there should also be more voice lines saying that Dunmer are fine good people among the nords and stormcloaks as well. This distrust could be placed upon 'why' the dunmer are helping, and not a blood and soil race thing like it 'seems' to be in Skyrim.

I'm not well versed in these pieces of lore so I'm a little confused (im barely on my first playthrough of Skyrim, there's lots for me to learn) Did Almalexia remain a Chimer after Azura's curse? If so, why?
@theemerdareloth2 күн бұрын
She used her God-like powers to remain a Chimer. Her whole personality revolves around being a narcissist essentially, which is represented by her refusing to have Dunmer skin.

How is it that this person sounds exactly like tarnished archeologist? Same tone, same speech patterns and even uses the same expressions. 🤔🤔🤔

The blacksmith hewig (idk if i spelled it right” also has his regrets that he killed a spirit tuner in the past. And believes he should be imprisoned, to the point where he worships marika for imprisoning him. So in a sense, by being imprisoned, he feels free from what he has done. He accepts his imprisonment as being just and deserved.

Never stopped playing this, and I'm rather upset over it. I play this game every day. :/ I just avoided going into Legend ranks so I didn't have to deal with the stupid neutral decks.

Though I have a dim view towards the Tribunal, Sotha Sil has my respect. I can relate to wanting to create a more perfect world.

I just finished it!! :) Amazing game!, tho havent done the two dlcs yet. Already started on Deadfire, so might do them after Deadfire is done. Only heard good things about those two dlcs, alot of good new lore.
@theemerdareloth5 күн бұрын
They're really well made games. Deadfire general has better combat and environments, but the story is less enjoyable (somewhat intentionally), in my opinion. White March I & II are great expansions for the first game. Deadfire has 3 DLCs: "Beast of Winter," "The Forgotten Sanctum,"" and "Seeker, Slayer, Survivor." BoW and TFS were really good. Didn't like SSS as much.
@geraltgrey-mane6955 күн бұрын
@theemerdareloth I agree and thank you for the thoughts on the dlcs. But what do you mean "intentionally"? How?
@theemerdareloth4 күн бұрын
The story of Deadfire has a lot of factions in it, and in my opinion, none of them are particularly "right." It's written to be like that though, because true to life, there are no "good guys" or "bad guys," simply people going about their lives.
@geraltgrey-mane6954 күн бұрын
@@theemerdareloth Thats a good thing, or not? I like it, atleast thus far ^^ But I could see why few might want a "simple" story or an obvious "good guy faction".

Will you make a video on Vivec? Vivec is my number 1 Tribunal, Sotha Sil being second and you know who as last, i'm still salty she killed him so i am not saying her name.
