The big tree fight can be cheesed by attacking from where the child and his mum and dad shadows are. Just don't get too close to the edge or you'll be thorn whipped off

Something I just learned about fighting Balthazar before entering the shadow fell is if you can get his bell for his brother, you can summon him for a fight in the temple (I choose the library) and if his health gets too low he goes into a rage where he attacks everyone (Including you). Once the fight is over, he remains in the rage, but is teleported back to Balthazar. Starting a fight that forces Balthazar to consume his speed potion. If you fail to open the door in the first encounter with Balthazar, you can still fight him with an advantageous position.

Man, I kinda skiped a big chunk of act 2 on my playthrough because I accidentaly freed Nightsong before going to moonrise towers for the first time, and she immediately started to siege it. So I never saw that cool introduction of Ketheric or freed Tieflings or met that deep gnome. Also, I didn`t even notice the the drawn map of faith leap trial, because my fighter champion just jumped betwen ledges.

I almost did the same thing in my first playthrough until my buddy told me I could go to Moonrise.

Also I feel like you got through act 2 really fast, I only remember seeing one live stream for act 2 vs a good few for act one. Wasn’t able to catch them sadly.
