nice to get an insight. I have also used a range of tablets, more at the lower end as it was mostly for presentation and teaching than drawing. I started off with some entry models like Genius. To be honest they were ok for what i used them for, but later models felt more professional as they didn't have the friciton. I used Wacom Intuos but not the pro. It was ok. I did like the feel of it compared to lower end, but ultimately the connector kept failing due to a design fault where the Wacom connector they provided was heavy and the weight of it pulled the connection down. I wouldn't mind so much if it was only the cable side but also the tablet side so it was next to impossible to charge it meaning i had to find a replacement. For a while I used the stylus of a Yoga. This was ok but it didn't have the same friction as Wacom. I had to fnd an alternative again as the computer wasn't stable. I used a XPPen Star. This was at first wonderful. It was large so I got great precision, felt good, had good tilt drew well, but the friction ended up scratching the tablet surface. In conclusion, I would probably not spend too much money unless you had too or have money to spare as you don't know if it is going to last more than a couple of years.

Wow you must be hard on pens. I have the Huion HS611. The tablet and pen has been durable over the years. I have no real complaints but lately I’ve been looking to upgrade to a Kamvas 16 or Xp pen 16
