Depends on whether the car is a Pre LCI or LCI. Both have different style clamping options and so we use different branded downpipes. Honestly, a full system Exhaust on these B58s induces too much drone, that's why we stay away from recommending a full system Exhaust to our clients.

We used to use MST Downpipes for the Pre-LCI, however now we've switched to AA as MST has discontinued their production of De-Cat Downpipes totally.

The difference isn't a lot from the stock catback thanks to the very restrictive Mid-Pipe. Also installing anything other than a BMW supplied exhaust also voids warranty.

FE totally depends on how one drives and the traffic you encounter. Usually tuned cars give better FE than stock if you don't keep driving like a maniac.

That would depend on the Horsepower Goals you have, the turbo you choose and the subsequent mods required for that particular setup. Anywhere between 10L (for a 400HP setup) upto 25L (for a 600HP setup).

We spend a lot of time & do a lot of R&D to ensure the tunes are safe for these cars. So far we've never had an issue with the Gen3B engines.

hey guys , Amazing work both on the car & on the cinematics ... could u please suggest , is it advisable to change the full exhaust system or only the catback without touching the ECU ... Bcz Someone close to me said that an aftermarket downpipe installation without touching the ECU might spoil the Turbos or make them wear out quickly.

That advise came from us only on the M340i video. Never put Downpipes on the car if you don't plan to tune the ECU.
