@edbertextreme i like new trance but it feels a little bound by cool transformations. You know the oversoul was described as anything the shaman can imagine, while the new trance is just the combination so I'm not sure haha

Not true actually. Hao 500 years ago likely lost because Matamune killed him. Hao still loved the cat and couldn't bring himself to destroy it. For his third life, Hao separated his heart away, that hard ended up in Yoh, likely why Matamune bonded with him so quickly.
