So many people are happy and hyped, because...you see now there are a better adaptation of the Shaman king manga, because old 2001 anime version was not fair to the source, because the manga was not ended that time and they rushed the anime with some fanfic ending and blah, blah, blah...Hao is the true Shaman king blah, blah, blah...Hao is so cool blah, blah, blah...!🤨🤨🤨 Oh come on. I don't know if author of the manga wanted the things to go in the way or did it, because he wanted manga ending/sequel to be different than 2001 anime version, but come one! They Hao a Shaman king for some reason, which makes all Yoh and his friends journey meaningless. Also with that scene and whole back story of Hana, they made Yoh some incompetent idiot and bad father, who fight for some meaningless causes and not for the better - his son and family and his OG journey and arc as original main character. Look, Yoh is many things but idiot and incompetent friend and dad is not one of them. All thing should have ended like 2001 version. Because everything ended with some logical end.

​@@vencislavgynev8282Hi, saw a few of your comments criticizing the manga and the new anime's plot. Let me share my thoughts on some of your points. Hao is not a lunatic. Why? He's seen the world's bad side, shameful actions, greed and murder and all that. He said he wants to change the world and eradicate this sort of issues. He could not do that twice because he still had a heart and cared for people. Matamune was his closest friend and Hao couldn't kill him twice. Knowing Haos power level, it's safe to assume he could defeat Yohken and Matamune in his second life, but didn't, because he didn't want to kill Matamune. On his third life, Hao was born without something. He was born without love. That love seems to be inside of Yoh, that's why You and Matamune bond really well. Anna was full of hate, but had a heart and that's why Yoh was able to save ger soul from the demons, their love saved them. Hao is in a similar place, his heart and love are absent, but Yoh is the only one who can get through to him. They can't defeat him, he's too powerful, but they can change him. Yes, Hao wins, but Hao also revives everyone and gives them a second chance at both life and at changing the world's faults. Yoh was never the destined warrior or the savior. It was never implied he's meant to be king, he is, in my opinion, too chill and doesn't even want to do it. Another parallel I'd point out to is that Yoh seeks the peace within himself, while Hao seeks the peace outside of himself, changing the world instead of his soul. About Flowers - Yoh is still a good person, he's trying to prove Hao wrong, to show him that the world can be saved. World before Hao became the king was not GOOD. It was corrupt, violent, greedy. That's the world YVS wants to go back to, but Haos intention is better, Hao would like to see the world be better. That's why they actually share the same goal this time around. Hope you liked hearing a different opinion and if you want to point to something I missed please do.

So many people complained about 2001 version being not the real ending, because at that time manga was not close to its end, and everyone demanded reboot/remake. Guess what, only Hao fanboys and fangirls like this ending and route the manga went. They first of all, they made Yoh pointless as a main big character, when he didn't become King and Hao won. Now they made of him one big idiot and bad father, and person with meaningless priorities. Also you by yourself can see how many plotholes and illogical things happen here. Out of nowhere Yoh and Hao are on good terms, no matter, that he is a crazy sociopath, who want to do a genocide. Just the whole idea of the original starting story is missed and everything Yoh and his friends did, and sacrificed were poitless. Man, this is the f***ing Yoh Asakura, the OG, the man, who was destined to save the world and to bring a real peace to humanity, not some idiot, who goes to Middle East to fight terrorism, when some sociopaths with Godlike powers want world extinction. This is Yoh Asakura, who has a planetary level power, not some sloppy idiot, who got himself killed in warzone by some terrorists. This all is so stupid and out of the logic. Everyone acts out of character. This looks more as some crazy fanfic than 2001 version. 2001 version was true ending, because it was example of hope, heroism and sacrifice in almost poetic way. This is sequel to Shaman King, called Shaman King Flower think of it like Boruto of Shaman King. The Mc is Yoh and Anna son, Hana who pretty much like Boruto an annoying taleneted brat, who often beating people he didn't like, because both of his parent are not around. Amidamaru, Ryu, Tamao and the three girl subordinate of Hao are the one raising him.

Aw, I didn't watched remake because I'm too nostalgic about old "Shaman King" and don't want to destroy that sweet memories. But I'm happy it's far more faithful to source. That's what Yoh should represent and does so, amazingly.
