Try isometrics, they will enhance your performance for calisthenics tricks. Isometrics need no equippement as calisthenics. You will eventually make it there.

dude, I need some advice. I (26 M) have been calisthenics for the past 4 months. right now training 4-5 days a week. I want to build a respectable physique. It would be great if you could look at my schedule below and tell me if I am missing something or doing wrong. It would be of great help. DAY 1 pushups( on parallets so that I can go more deeper and get better stretch) pullups DB shrugs Some leg exercises DAY2 pike pushups( want to learn hspu) chinups Dips lateral raise some leg exercises DAY 3 ( Active rest day) core running
@hydrogen.calisthenics18 күн бұрын
honestly it looks pretty decent, but what i would suggest if you really want to have insane strength is doing weighted calisthenics. Weighted calisthenics contributed to most of my strength and physique! keep going bro!

Try to engage your glutes more, it looks like your lower back is dipping way too low (at the end of the video.) Also if psuedo planche push ups are too easy, do a 90 degree hold at the bottom and hold it for a little then push back up.
@hydrogen.calisthenics28 күн бұрын

Funny cause I was doing weighted dips for a while and stopped since last week cause I talked to a guy having the full planch and he told me he was only doing set & reps without weight for conditioning (something like 300 dips and 200 pull ups 2-3 times a week). But I think it is necessary to build muscles faster at the begining, and once you have built enough muscle mass, it's not needed anymore. The main reason to drop weighted dips and pull ups for him was as you experienced in your vid: it takes a lot on your nervous system, and then this is energy you don't have anymore to train planch holds. Now I'm doing specific planch training, just at the adv tuck progression now, still having hips a bit lower than the shoulders. I'll keep following your progress as we are quite close on the journey ! You didn't experienced pain in forearm ? Or between thumb and index when doing on parallets?
@hydrogen.calisthenicsАй бұрын
