Can anyone say planned obsolescence. 2018 JLU Wrangler, Between 70,000 & 80,000mls right out of warranty: Warped heads $5,200/rear main seal leak $1,700 (shop price,still not fixed)/ coolant reservoir leak $400/also not fixed yet : oil cooler leak/ radiator hose leak ( leaves puddle everywhere I go)/ rear axle leaking. Engine sounds like a damn diesel truck. Aux battery killed my yellow top $500 for both (i have since bypassed that pos) there's other small things too many to type here.

The design is definitely not very intuitive. I’m just wondering why the car didn’t start immediately rolling when he got out? He would’ve had a smashed gate and dented vehicle, but he’d still be alive. Just weird. Also odd that the vehicle wouldn’t automatically go into park with the door opening at low to zero speed? My car does, I found out the hard way😅. I was opening my door to back up and look at the curb as to not hit it. As soon as I opened the door, “clunk!!” Real loud and the car was in park. Luckily I didn’t cook the transmission. But I was barely going 1-2mph tops. Anyways, it’s definitely not a great design in Anton’s jeep. But there are indicators that let you know what gear you’re in. And he should’ve taken a bit more time to verify it was in P park. In addition, if you’re on a slope, hit the emergency brake to make sure the car doesn’t move. Just a combination or bizarre design and bad luck for Anton. A truly sad situation. RIP Anton.

i’ve had these on my 14’ taurus the past couple years and they’ve been great, i got a tad over 50k miles out of them. when they wear down they aren’t as bad as most tires. great in the winter, they really decreased the amount of understeer my last tires gave me

But I’m not going anywhere without recovery equipment on one Jeep. Now I’m looking at a different bumper to mount the wench on. I’m planning to get a set of torsion lockers for the axles sometime this year. Then some lights. Lockers before lights. But me and the wife want to keep the Jeep somewhat stock or easy to put it back. Now my sister who knows she wants everything.

I like older cars because there is a definite "clunk" when you put older cars into park, or if you drive a manual it is just so second nature to hit the e-brake and throw it into a gear/turn it off.
