squared tires for any moto or bike are bad....your gonna need rounded edges for smooth stable leaning.....with the squared corner the more you lean the more unstable you get till you get to the corner of the tire then you basically have no contact patch left and your trying to balance on a tiny point... ...with the inline tires you will always be scrubbing the 2 inside tires during a turn....even if the front 2 turned 1 way and the back the opposite way , you will still scrubbing rubber.....this thing will forever be fighting its self to do any thing but go in a straight line.... . fundamentally broken design... but the crash should be good.... don't change a thing...... just re-name the project a Drag bike..... and keep on keeping on

JUST RUN A HIGHER PRESSURE IN THE FRONT AND REAR TIRE TO MAKE THEIR DIAMETER SLIGHTLY LARGER, ALLOWING THE 2 CENTERS TO HAVE LESS GRIP......

Reinventing the Wheel 😂

Remember a certain giant motor cycle with square tyres that needed to be rounded off for it to turn? Until then it would go straight into the nearest fence or fall over on its side? You need rounded cross sections on your wheels so you can LEAN it to turn. Also you need wheel that turns to pivot in the center not from the circumference of the wheel. I have a feeling the front 3 wheels are gonna want to go straight and the rear wheel will drag behind them no matter what angle it is on and just scrub the tyre. Good luck with this tho.

Maybe a 2*2 steering, so a mono frame, with the first 2 wheels turing the way you turn with the last 2 turning opposite

Use 2 cables push and pull in a x shape to reverse the front steering

My dudes, I use to own a 6x6 5 ton truck. When I engauged the front axel drive, you can't really turn it any more, that's just for going straight. Because the front wheels were drive wheels are on the steering axel, if you turn the wheels while going forward, both rear axels are pushing forwards -and the front axel is pulling at some angle so they're fighting eachother. I like the idea what you're doing, but I think the middle wheels will have to be able to swivel, so they kind of act like casters. That way when you are turning, you're not pulling the middle wheels sideways. Just food for thought. Best of luck to you, can't wait to see this project through to completition!!

wheel 1 steer direction you wanna go, middle stays solid, third wheel steer opposite. then last wheel make it into 2 wheels... like a trike backend trailer?

It might be easier to turn if you move the steering wheel pivot point to the center of the back wheel

It's just gonna drag the rear tire and not turn. *Edit* you're gonna need 4 wheel steering with the front tires turning opposite of the rear tires and a pivot in the middle or no pivot at all just the front two wheels turning opposite or the rear two. Probably would steer like a submarine lol

That’s not gonna work fellas. The geometry isn’t there. Try instead having the steering in front. Delete one tire. You can keep it long and functional by having two tires in a row in back and one out front that steers. The front tire will need sturdy support and some planning for the angle or rake.

I don't know the physics, but it seems to me it'll be virtually impossible for 1 wheel to steer because the other 3 are going to be too much resistance. Is there a reason it needs to have a turning wheel and not just lean like a normal bike?

Look into a John deer Amt sxs. They have the geared steering you are looking for and also use 2 rear axles and I think they have different sizes tires so that it turns correct

Id say make it 4 wheel drive & kingpin the center so the frame between the front & rear 2 wheels will pivot for steering,then an engine on each 2 wheel frame section!!

That is gonna be super sketchy to ride. The rear steering is either gonna get traction and kick you sideways when you try turning or it's going to face too much resistance against the other tires and just slide. When it's moving, wear a helmet

I know this sounds stupid and costly and probably heavy, but imagine an inline six or something stupid in the front, and you just slap it on there 😆

For steering why not use a lever system with push/pull methods? Like you turn the wheel and it uses a push rod that goes both front and back but the back one is connected to a lever that changes the direction of force? Just a thought, no matter what you end up doing I'm excited to see where it goes!

Dude you should rethink your channel. You had it epic at ghp. So far this stuff is so janky and half assed take the time to figure out what your going to do before putting out content that wastes peoples time. First u see cool three wheeled bike. Then it’s three Corolla tires and some metal you put around it and call it a bike? rethink what ur channels content really is so far unsubscribed after this one. Disappointing

Putting 3 wheel in a line will not steer with just a fourth. Maybe if the front and back steer and the middle 2 tires are drive tires. You can reverse one set with bars crossing over, but a cable steering would be easier... and more expensive.
