If the drugs don't work, you will have to go through cardioversion, if that does not work, ablation. Ablation can cost upwards of $300,000. So, if you don't have health insurance that will cover it, you'd be seriously out of pocket. And there is no guarantee that the first or second ablation would be enough. Some people have to get it repeated several times. So, lucky you! I hope this magic hydration tablet will work for everybody!

@dianatennis1649 I had afib two times a year for 4 years. Tried potassium for six months zero effect still had afib. Then I tried Brazil nuts and not had an attack for two years. Also I found that my occasional orthostatic hypotension also went and that benefit isn't even mentioned on the net But go easy on the Brazil's because they contain selenium and both too much selenium or magnesium can cause arrhythmia Either potassium, magnesium or salt will be the issue for most paroxysmal afib not actual heart disease. Paroxysmal afib doesn't always inevitable progress to permanent afib if you address the underlying issue. If you do have discernable heart disease that shows up on an MRI you can reverse it in many cases with exercise and going on a low carb diet because carbs cause inflammation. An increasing number of researchers and doctors are abandoning the cholesterol is bad thesis and are now pointing the finger at sugar and carbs

i still don't know what AFIB is exactly but since i was 15 i had skipped beats and got used to it. then 4 years ago i started having anxiety which was not quickly diagnosed so i went to google and made matters worse and went into the anxiety cycle. It started with my heart racing as i was drving home in the middle of the night so my heart is a big trigger for me. I was doing fine the last 2 years getting out of anxiety then last year i was mopping the floor and my heart did some skipps and then boom my heart went to what felt overdrive my pulse was so fast i thought i was going to drop dead it lasted for like 1 to 2 minutes. Called my doctor went to him he checked my heart rate which was fine again but he did see some skipped beats and those are bening he said 2 weeks later i had a 24 hour ecg done the fast heart rate did not come back ofcoure at the time of ecg. Docter said my heart is fine and that i should just go exercise to expose myself to the heart symptoms. It felt like my heart was racing but also not fully contracting or something i think that's what they call fluttering of the heart? But because i am 29 i think they just think it's all fine but damn it realy scared me i am using magnesium and that helped calm my heart rate in general because of anxiety it is a bit higher usualy. And i start my morning of with a glass of water with some sea salt for the electrolytes. I am still researching about this stuff and i found out that also a lot of people are potassium deficient we should get op to 4800mg a day or something and only 10% of people gets that so i think the nuun is good becaue it has a good bit of potassium in it. Heart symptoms are just so scary because if that stops where dead we can live without a limb but not without our heart

whole foods, a designer market for the rich, has an entire shelf section full of electrolite tablets. I went, had an in store person to help. She didn't know much. I ended up buying a few flavors of these tablets, no caffeine included. The tablets did not do much, from what I could tell. The afib was still there, paroxysmal, for a few days. I took the prescribed directions on the package as well. My opinion is to find a supplement supplier you like and buy Potassium and Magnesium tablets.

This is great info and I will be sharing. I am caring for my 87 year mom all of a sudden acted strangely, having Hallucinations of being in the woods etc. she was weak and could barely walk. getting lost in the house not knowing where she was going. I thought I was due to her macular degenerative but took her to the doctor and had her tested for UTI and it was positive. Doctor gave her a steroid antibiotic shot and I took her for a drip IV and B-12 vitamin and she immediately got better. She got her strength back. Not as much hallucinations and eating. She wasn’t drinking much water which caused the UTI and not wiping front to back. Best important to have them do this.

This is the best video I’ve seen on transfers! You wouldn’t believe what’s out there people lifting under the arms and not using the gate belt. People putting themselves in a headlock with their head under the patient’s arm and lifting! . That’s just an accident waiting to happen! You did an amazing job bravo! 👏 👏👏👏

Thank you a million times for this demonstration!! My mom had a stroke 2 months ago & just came home from a SNF and they gave me no training whatsoever 😢 most videos on KZbin have able-bodied people pretending to need assistance, not a person who actually needs it so this is a lifesaver because it’s actually realistic. 👍🏻😊

Looks like you lifted with the belt.If you reach around the patient and grasp the belt with the hands approx,5 inches apart then you use your forearms to grasp the pt.,you have their wt on your arms and not on the belt.You use the belt as an anchor point for your hands and have you arms more under the rib cage on both sides.27 yrs as a PTA in Nursing homes and Home Health.Worked for me.

Thanks! I had aFib and thought I controlled it with magnesium. But then I went on the Keto diet and my heart went crazy. I've been trying for a week to figure out what went wrong.. I had no idea it was electrolytes. Good call! By the way, there are some better alternatives to this brand, with no sugar, so more Keto friendly.

I have SVT and my dr. prescribed 2 meds & for me to start drinking Gatorade. I did start taking the meds because I felt like my symptoms were starting to go away. But I did start drinking the Ade everyday and haven't had hardly any issues since then! Plus yes, I'm using the bathroom regularly now, that's a plus!

THANK YOU!!!!!! Had an episode for 4 days. Had some electrolyte powder in my pantry. It has been 30 mins and my heart rate dropped from 137 to 87 and I can't feel it pounding out of my chest anymore AND it is balancing out. Getting my energy back. Can't wait to see how I feel later today. Thank you so very much!! I was not about to go for another 3 day stay at the hospital again.

Magnesium and Zinc are both essential nutrients for health. Magnesium supports muscle relaxation, nerve, heart, and bone health. Zinc is vital for normal growth and development, and supports the body's natural immune defense system. Plus essential Electrolytes are substances that have a natural positive or negative electrical charge when dissolved in water. They help your body regulate chemical reactions, maintain the balance between fluids inside and outside your cells, and more. Also the Vagus Nerve stimulation and general relaxation of the nervous system. Also look out for T4 syndrome, almost most of your nerves pass through this area in the back and if your T4 T6 area is tight then it can cause false nervous messages especially regulating heart, breathing and sweating. Unfortunately, T4 Syndrome is a very poorly understood and often unrecognized condition. As a result, no one confidently knows what T4 Syndrome is. However, it appears to involve two primary defining characteristics. First, spine and rib cage stiffness are always present in T4 Syndrome. This is no different than someone without T4 Syndrome who has, for example, a stiff and painful back. Of note, the part of the back typically involved with T4 Syndrome is located between the shoulder blades. The second characteristic involves a disruption of the autonomic nervous system. While that might not make sense immediately, many people will recognize the symptoms described above, which are often involved with this disruption. However, people with T4 syndrome can have a highly variable presentations so not everyone experiences the same manifestations. Furthermore, the autonomic nervous system impacts nearly every tissue in the body. This far reaching reality might explain why T4 Syndrome can have such a huge array of symptoms.

I ate Brazil nuts which are rich in magnesium and I haven't had an episode for two years. But don't overdo them because too much can can also cause arrhythmia just as much as too little. If it doesn't work try potassium instead

I wish it were this simple. Electrolytes - especially magnesium and potassium - can play a huge role, but there are many others, and there is no silver bullet. The closest one there is, however, is weight loss for those with afib who classify as obese. Dropping those lbs will lower blood pressure and reduce the severity of sleep apnea - the two biggest causes of afib.
@CS-uc2oh
@CS-uc2oh Ай бұрын
It actually is this simple, fat or not. Carrying a lot of weight is a SYMPTOM of metabolic disease and should never be the focus to better health. You'll lose weight with a better diet.

@gdude7397 Ай бұрын
@@CS-uc2oh - stick to your topic. This is all about magnesium, and as I said, it is NOT a silver bullet for afib!

@peterlearner8594
@peterlearner8594 6 күн бұрын
It may not be that simple for you but it is that simple for a great number of people with paroxysmal afib. Permanent afib is a different matter and is caused by heart damage. There are two distinct types of afib and they are not the same with a progression along a single continuum. This misunderstanding scares people into accepting expensive and damaging cardiac ablation. Check out the York Cardiology you tube channel. This particular doctor understands the condition better than anyone I know

It’s typical for elderly to UTI’s bc of their lack of intake of water, diets…sugar!! and UTI’s can be hereditary( I know, crazy). Try to increase water intake , offer water and watered down juices/ electrolytes drink. Make to assist to the BR every2 hours to make sure they are staying dry. Females might be low on estrogen which causes increase dryness and with the urine ( bc it’s acidic) gets in the cracks of dryness and it burns. This I know bc I’ve done senior care for quite a while and hospice care. Im able to just look at urine and smell it and detect a UTI a mile away. 😂 Make sure to assist seniors with wiping properly..front to back, keep area dry( but not overly dry), if you use wipes PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE FRAGRANCE FREE AND FOR SENSITIVE SKIN AND PLEASE MAKE SURE U HELP DRY AREA…DON’T LEAVE WET!! Use Vaseline to help dryness..you will need to talk to Dr if low on estrogen. I, too, have started my mom on D- Mannose power bc antibiotics don’t work any longer. Speak to your drs about using this for prevention of UTI’s. And, if you see any blood or pinkish to light reddish in color in urine….please be into the dr bc folks can go septic QUICKLY!! God bless!
