Thank you very much, can you guide how to export anime characters to fbx with this texture?

Tip for people watching in 2024 and afterwards: newer versions of blender have the Loop Tools Add-On under the 'Get Extensions' tab in preferences instead of 'Add-ons'

How can you rotate to a side view so that the object is also in the same position as the horizontal view of the character photo?

I remember when I wanted to make a 3d rendering script, halfway through and I gave up lmao I gave up not because I couldn't do it, or how to calculate matrices and stuffs, I gave up because I wasn't able to grasp the formula. Basically, I can't do shit if the formula doesn't exist, and I felt shit because of that lol

When you do E + S don't you end up with a bunch of vertices stacked on top of the originally selected ones?

What are those short cuts you're using to fill the faces in quickly?
@autismclips5076Ай бұрын
I also wanted to know and experimented a bit. You fill the first face by selecting the 4 vertices. After that, you select the 2 vertices of the edge along which you want to fill faces, then just press F multiple times. Let me know if you have any issues :)

just so everyone knows if you're doing this in Blender 4.1 or later, it looks like smooth normals is only a modifier now, but tbh I don't understand how it works

Guys I have a way to pic the reference image. - Just jump to the time stamp 2:30 - Then take a screenshot - Then crop the image to only the reference ( the image will be blurred. if you want clear image follow the next step) - Then go to a free image enhancer, ex : PicWish - Clear the image Hope this helps guys. Desperate time needs creative methods.

Hi Daniel, I've been binge watching this series before beginning any modeling so that I'd have some idea of what the early steps were building towards. In this video, you said you were wondering if anyone would ever watch all the "grindy boring parts where there wasn't much information", but actually those parts were the *most* useful, as it was the only part where I could see how retopology is usually done when there is no convenient box modeled geometry to be re-used. (The section with the body retopo had so many vertices that I couldn't really work out what you were doing.) Actually when I first saw this model, I assumed you'd deliberately chosen a part robot model in order to simplify the rigging and animation later on. Thanks for putting this series together, I'll now go make a sandwich before watching the rest of it.

Calling the armature "Armature" is actually really important, otherwise you get an extra root bone level
