Yeah, sometimes I have struggled for far too long when making a UV map, even for a cupboard or something straight. The UV map is a little troublesome at times, but you can usually work around it, like you were able to. Good job! ^_~

In my experiencing doing one big texture atlas or individual textures for each object is easy to do with the various baking plugins you can find out there. I don't know anything about the artefacts from baking in blender though. I don't have substance painter so I usually build up my own 'layers' through nodes and mask materials in and out to regain some of that functionality.

Do you know if Quixel is any good? At least for this cel-shading kind of stuff which is my main interest. Haven't seen many good tutorials since it's so new and anyone with lots of experience would have no reason to switch from Substance, but as someone who's just making assets for games as a hobby I'm not too keen on spending 50 bucks a month for the Adobe package.
