Damn, the sheer length of that 4-dr Impala. Even though they were sort of 'around' 90s decade even, plus the fact you rarely even see 2000s era 'full-size' cars anymore. Looking at it makes it seem as if they were 5 feet longer than how you remember them.

You still love working on cars when you can trust the replacement parts are good. Too many unnecessary electronic modules get in the way and take up space with unnecessary wires, sensors, relays, fuses, etc. An electric recliner that moves slower than pulling a plastic handle?

This is a truck version of the incredibly successful Prius. And the Ramcharger won’t have an expensive transmission.

Tony....I am an honest man and cannot tell a lie...unless it's to the wife where have I been from 10pm to 430am the next day. Any-hooo I did Not repeat did Not see this project coming and turning into this! And I couldn't be more happy. "Drifting a 4 door 67 Impala with a big block sounds like our everyday commute to high school back in the day. Anything less exciting than throwing the big block around with tires ablaze was such a normalized process that if anything less happened on the way to school meant somebody's dog died. When you added the N2O giggler to the equation I simply said "when can you start and when can we see it shred??

My vote is to "accidentally" drop that camshaft, forcing a severe fracture and therefore the need to purchase something more reasonable. I just wanna say, I'm kinda digging this new guy. He seems pretty laid back for a business guy gone USA car mad!

There's a guy on social media who drifts a full size Mopar from the 70s. Can't remember his name but that would be cool to see the Impala do the same

If you're gonna go Rat, you need to go RAT with a 502. The question is can that old Impala hold up to a Rat motor on the bottle?

You're gonna need about 1000hp to make that lead sled drift. LOL Y'all do know, building the front end on that dinosaur is gonna be the real nightmare, right? Especially having to carry that humongous power plant around.

At least Ducky admits to not knowing what he's doing with an engine as opposed to ol' lunar and Wilbur. he thought he had cleaned everything to a high standard.. he thought wrong.. and JW, well.... 6 hours to scrape gaskets with a pocket knife was just embarrassing and showed the world he didn't know what he was doing.

Awesome story of the rise, fall and rise of the Charger. I'm 33 and I have been a die hard car enthusiast since I can remember. When I was a kid, I loved cars in general but never had a favorite car, or car type, until one day my mom got me a magazine of classic cars. From all different styles and origins...but one of all 100 cars was unforgettable...it was a 1968 Dodge Charger. That car had something so unique to me, it just stood out from all others...there were Corvettes, Mustangs, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsches, etc., but the Charger was different. Since then, I got more interested in the car, and then the 1st Fast and Furious movie came out, and I saw the Charger again, but on VHS this time. From all Imports, once again the aggressive style was my favorite. I then became more curious in knowing the history, versions, of the Charger. It just became my all time favorite car. Although my experience was with the 68 and 70, my favorite is the 1969...for the same reasons mentioned by Uncle Tony. After this, I got into the Muscle Car world, specially Mopars in general. I currently own a Dodge Dart, love the other Mopars also...but the Charger is my dream car and all time favorite.

It ain't going to work with those disgusting GHETTO wheels on it. I wouldn't even stand close to that thing with it looking like that. I've built LOTS of small block Chevys. But I know very little about big blocks. They are more at home in a large car, and I like mid size cars. I fell in love with the small block Chevy at age 19, when my Dodge 318 blew up and I traded it for a Chevy. Now 65, and still love old school small block Chevys. Got three of them. There is nothing that cannot be done with a small block Chevy. But those wheels have to go.

It's rated at 3800LB. I've had several 67 Imp's the big block car was rated at 4200LB. I had 2 4drs and 2 2drs but only one was a big block a 2dr 427 cu. Ci. 390 hrs with a power glide. For some reason it ate a bunch of trans's after I got the car. But it was a lot of fun 😁 👍

I had a similar experience I had a 3:27 with the old 3030 cam in it. I had a 600 double pumper and I decided I wanted to try the 750 double pumper. When I put the 750 on it was a little more sluggish when you hit the gas but I could actually feel by the seat of my pants that on the top and it actually pulled more than the 600. It was the same thing according to the books it was way over carbureted and only putting out about 375 horse but I could literally feel by the seat of my pants it definitely pulled stronger on the top end with the 750 although at idle rich and was more doggy off the line it certainly made more power top end anyway.
