I met Ben in Silverstone 2010 shortly after he quit as the Stig, got an autograph and had a nice chat, he's a great bloke!

Senna is about 3 times the cost of the sf90 though isn’t it? Not really a comparison.

04’37” “Toby Scheckter” was he Jody’s brother? And 07’15” “Steel, breaks” hmm, how does it break? Come on guys get somebody with a knowledge of English to check the captions. Good to see these fine old cars on Donington, the only UK racing circuit built before WW2 and still in operation.

Im so glad that beautiful bit of British engineering beat the Ferrari which was made in a country that once allied with Nazis. Ferrari is predominantly owned by investment companies now days, such as Exor, Blackrock and a bunch of other globalist Bankers i.e the organisations that control everything and rip you off. Piero Ferrari, the second and only living son of Enzo Ferrari only actually owns 10.4% of his Farthers dream now, and only actually has 15.4% vote on anything in the company. Even more reason to buy a beautiful bit of British engineering, from a country that never supported NAZIS and makes faster cars. Roll-On the Mclaren W1 🖐😜🖕

Both cars are ugly, generic looking, forgettable, shitty, over-hyped, over-complicated, modern hypercar trash, that evoke absolutely zero emotional response, unlike supercars of the 90s to 2010 (ish).

Its almost like Senna is shifting momentum from front to back by stabbing the throttle. Hence giving more traction and grip , swapping between front and back. Almost like climbing a ladder , one step at a time. Surely someone must have done a computer study on his driving technique by now.

The Ferrari is much more beautiful and I want her in her classical Red Scuderia. The black flattens and blurs the design lines and that's a capital sin

Amazing vehicle. Sadly, will be owned and hardly driven by those who can afford them. Thrashing my 300bhp S2000 around will deliver more smiles than the people who buy these.

No seriously Ben. The historical context was most welcome and the conversation with the gentleman acquainted with Ferrari's exploits genuinely moving. To your point about connection, I was recently reading about the history of chocolate and the entrepreneurial work of the Quaker movement. I hope the people of Poland are interested but sure as hell Mondelez is not.

Really enjoying your content Ben, very suited to being a presenter and your insights into how these cars perform are fascinating. Always great to hear from someone who is well qualified to back up their opinions. All the best for ‘25 and beyond from the other side of the world here in little old NZ.

When at Fiorano are you actually allowed to try and set a proper lap time without excess wheel spin when cornering. Are you allowed to do that and why wouldn't you try and break the lap record ;-). As for the reporting the detail you provide is fantastic so thanks, it is great to get these perspectives, especially as a Ferrarista!

You're absolutely right, the GR Yaris is a cracker - even if it is slightly visually challenged. It is a modern classic but it does have it's drawbacks: 1) it's not as practical as the Integrale - 5 doors with decent room for rear passengers/bootspace 2) the Gen.2 GR is approx. £12K more than the Gen.1. Ouch! Gen.1 residuals should stay steady, I suppose 3) there is a known issue with the GR engine. Oil blow back around the Piston Rings (poor manufacturing tolerances) can cause burnt valves or block detonation - and there isn't a cheap fix. Google it... 4) it needs 6 monthly servicing to maintain the warranty... The GR is busy doing the 'Rally1 thing' at the moment but it's heritage isn't 'cemented in place' yet like the Integrale. Having said that, it probably makes the better 'daily driver'. A well kept/fully restored Integrale would be an even more unique ownership prospect, even if the LHD layout isn't the best for the UK. Tough choice..

If it weren’t for your assurances, I’d assume those blasts of engine revs were wheelspin. Otherwise, in the lower ratios, you’d be near doubling your speed in a couple seconds on a regular basis. I’ll just have to imagine it.

I would like to see THIS go up against the McLaren Senna. The standard SF 90 won the drag race, but lost on the track. Now this SF 90 XX is much more track based, so it would be an interesting match- up.
