You should always remember Ben that you are just a temporary visitor and not an owner in a Lancia Delta Integrale as it will develop a multitude of complex mechanical faults in the near future

2:52 Uhh ben I think I can tell you why that happened, and your standing right next to the culprate, the hood, the water and mosture sits above the engine and pools where the spark plug valley is, have him as part of the work, spray that area down with dialectic grease, its an old timer thing they used to do on 4 wheelers that would go through deep water to make sure the engine would stay running if any water splashed ontop of the motor, or near the sparkplug holes as I'm really surprised this isnt more common on italian cars really, but I would bet that's what's caused it more than anything else, given you got the airflow pushing the mosture into the vents ontop of the engine thus if its warmed up and shut off, guess what forms like a cold drink left in the hot air

Why do people, even so called professionals and experts, pronounce Lancia incorrectly, first of all there is no”S” in Lancia, it is pronounced “Lan-chee-ia.”

Funny looking standard shocks and springs there, surprisingly similar looking to KW coilovers 🤓

Not a lot of people realise that carbon fibre doesn't stay strong compared to the same time of a steel frame or something else. Yes it's lightweight and incredibly strong, but in the long term, it will become brittle and weak. Think about all those super/hypercars that are literally rotting away slowly day by day and nobody is able to tell until it gets hit or something causes it to split.

I give a tip of the cap to Ben having the nerves of steel that it takes to ride along with so many bad drivers over his awesome career

a very good friend in Grasse owns one of the very last Delta Integrale. I remember very well seeing an invoice for a lot of work done to this beautiful car and it was just over £7,000! just so many issues. It drives well.

For a car over 30 years old it’s in pretty sound shape. Lord Blue was always a bit left field. I sold one to an ex England Rugby player back in the day, very understated. 👍

Brilliant watch Ben. The Delta is a dream car of mine and to see your car totally brought back to life was great, and there was some other stunning cars in the background 😀

This is silly. Lancia's can't get rust nor rust out, since they're already made from rust to start with.

Love to see the Danish flag on the wing of that blue beauty, pretty sure its owned by the Danish Ferrari importer who also sponored Nielsen´s Challenge program. A driver who later won Le Mans for Ferrari. Great video, love the passion!

It’s an Italian classic……the rust is injected into the build at the factory, that’s why we love the challenge so much!👍🏼👍🏼

Wow, a lot of the suspension components are just wild-looking to me.. and guessing that's why these cars are so renowned for handling..

this mechanic is much more anal then he needs to be... lots of normal wear that doesnt need replacing or rebuilding...if you are going to go with all those parts id go with some cam and compression upgrades, might as well go with a stand alone ecu and bigger turbo, injectors, intercooler, and fuel upgrades... stock parts are a waste if your just replacing them
