outside of gen 4, the running increases encounter speed is just player psychology. because you are faster and the encounter rate is per tile, it feels like you get encounters more frequently. its not the case though. youre just getting them faster xD

Actually, you could play Gold & Silver on the original Gameboy, as they both had a gameboy mode in black and white. Pokemon Crystal on the other hand had a message saying this game cannot be played on Gameboy. :V Also, Pokemon Yellow is technically a Gameboy Color title~

A hacked 3ds is the best way to play Pokémon bc you can play whatever Pokémon game from GB to 3ds

My problem with the switch is that it don't has retrocompatibility, and the pokemon games from DS and GBA are the best, so i'm thinking about buying a 3DS instead of a Switch

If consider accessories like the transfer pak,then the GameCube can play all the GBC/GBA pokemon library

Fun idea. I've actually thought about this for a while with different series also, like Sonic and Zelda (yes, I'm autistic). An interesting fact, until the Switch that is, is that you could play almost every single mainline game from Nintendo's mayor franchises with only a New 3DS and a GBA. Now it's a Switch, a New3DS and a GBA.

And the funniest part about watching this video is, aside from some of the spin-offs and the japanese titles, I own *all* of this from getting it cheap over the years before the used market went through the *roof*. Was fun to watch, especially hearing about a few of the spin-offs that I haven't played on the DS/3DS. I still have yet to do a proper playthrough of Sun, though. You forgot that Pokemon Box allows you to play Ruby and Sapphire on a Gamecube. But also there is a game pack that allows to play all the other GBA games. But also also, both Wii and Wii U are backwards compatible! Plus, you forgot that Pokemon TCG2 exists. If you include Green, you need to include the other Japanese exclusive, as well. Aaand, you can technically play generation one Pokemon games on SNES! How cool is that? 😉
