I’ve got that same rifle that was passed down from my dad. But I need ramrod for it , have rod I use but would like have original. Any idea where get 1 ?? Thanks Jack Collins
@musketman54Ай бұрын
My first guess would be possibly eBay. Not many companies carry parts for this rifle. I think the telescoping ramrod is better than nothing but it could have been stronger lol. I always use my stainless range rod just to keep from damaging the original. Good luck on finding one!

I kinda wish you would have showed removing it and in staling it from what i understand you have to have guid pins and use a straight edge and the steps of putting sealant and something about being careful around an oil passageway!

I just ordered one of these last week and it should be here tomorrow. Looking forward to having some fun with it. Currently I'm still using my extremely old 1970's Marksman BB pistol and it's still working fine and lots of fun, but I wanted to try this Crosman, I've seen it on the web quite a bit and people seem to like it.

shooting is the cheapest possible and gives you joy when shooting cans at short distances, ideal for 'tournaments' with friends at a barbecue. here are 3 tips: after pulling the slide, do not let go of it, just move it back in a controlled way (extends the life of this toy); when reloading, hold the gun vertically with the barrel up (it guarantees correct loading and the balls do not fall where they should not); from time to time, apply a drop of gun oil to the 'tip' of the ball feeder in the magazine. Peace

It's still shooting very well. I haven't had any issues. I keep a drop of chamber oil in it at around every 600 or 700 shots.

I have a Marlin Model 39, one of the last ones made in the Marlin Plant in North Haven, Ct. I wouldn't expect Ruger to start manufacturing these, as their trend is to make less expensive and more affordable .22s.
@musketman543 ай бұрын
I would love to see these in production again. I'm not for sure if the quality and reliability would be equal to these older ones. It seem back in the day your rifles came with nice walnut stocks without having to special order or up charge the customer.

I have a 2016 Trax the oil pan has a hairline crack about 1 inch long , is it possible to weld that hairline crack? or is replacing the oil pan necessary?
@musketman543 ай бұрын
If I didn't drive so much in mine I could have probably repaired it with JB Weld to be quite honest. But that's just my opinion.

Do adjust the recoil with the scope by adjusting the 3mm Allen screw at the bottom by tightening it so that when the gun action recoils,it doesn't butt hard against the stock.

Quick question. Is your Trax AWD? Just wondering if the pan was different from the 2wd. I have a 2016 Trax AWD that the drain plug has been repaired several times. I’m just going change the pan.

Hey there...just wondering how the Winchester 4x32 has held up on the Crosman F4? I asked a year ago now and was wondering how that gun and scope were holding up. I set up an F4 with the same scope and mount and it's been holding up great. I've been considering putting one on a Diana 250.
@musketman545 ай бұрын
It is still holding up quite well. I haven't had any issues whatsoever. For the money, it's one of the most reliable scopes on the market.

I have the 48, being these are a fixed barrel and not a break barrel it should be more accurate. With the sliding action it takes hold sensitivity out of the equation which should make one of the most accurate springers you can buy. I will be picking one up.

Lovely review - thank you. Only thing I absolutely hate is portrait videos instead of landscape. My eyes are located on a horizontal plane and my vision is landscape. Really battled to find a low power BB handgun. Plinking in the back yard for grandchildren and scaring off pests in my garden without hurting them. My PSM45 is with the Courier Guy - should get it tomorrow morning.

I bought a 'Beeman 1210' break-barrel 22cal for the equivalent of just under $130, it appears to be almost identical to this Diana 250. I'm guessing they were made by the same factory in China. It's by no means as good as a top quality German or UK made spring rifle but to be fair it's a fraction of the price and the overall finish and performance is surprisingly good. A very smooth and comfortable hardwood thumbhole stock with nice grain and neatly fitted rubber butt pad at this price point is incredible value.

Hello sir. I just bought the same Connecticut Valley Arms Hawken rifle today at a gun range near where I live. It was used and on consignment (I think) for $199. I love how it looks. I am moved by nostalgia, so I knew I'd regret it if I walked away and somebody else bought it. It was an impulse buy for sure. 2:10 Anyhow, may I ask what ratio you mix the Palmolive, water, and Ballistol?
@musketman547 ай бұрын
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. I will tell you as an older gentleman told me when I started using it as patch lube. He didn't really have a ratio for it. He told me to put enough Palmolive in it to make it a "slick consistency " when you put some on your fingers. In that bottle I am using in the video, I put probably a 1/4 full of Palmolive and then about a 2 second squirt of Ballistol. Then just add the water. You can adjust as you see fit. I love using it for target shooting. Let me know if you need anything else. Take care!
