This was such a wonderful refreshing honest and funny conversation! It’s important to first make sure the jargon is correct such as “died by or completed”, “committed” has such a heavy and negative word. It’s hard to stop stigmas with negative labels on and already sad and uncomfortable situations, know one should feel ashamed for the feelings they are having, weather sad or happy! As a MH/SUDs professional and advocate for 30 years, thank you Ryan, Duck and Aleksie for a great conversation! Let’s continue to break this stigma! ❤️

This is such an important topic (well… they all are). As a culture we are so afraid of death and the process of grief. It’s been 6 1/2 years since dad, and 3 1/2 years since mom. I’m in a bereavement group every week. Finding your tribe is essential in many parts of life. I believe it is critical to grieving. Go and share with somebody!!!
