I remember waiting for the scores to come out and Brent needed to do very well here to qualify in a workout that is not exactly wheelhouse. An absolute clutch performance when he needed it most

Hey Brent Just wanted to say that I admire your passion to make CrossFit better. I admire your attitude and you are a great man. I am still just reeling with what happened to Lazar. I watched your interview and I just soaked up every word. Stay strong, and don’t give up trying to make changes! 🙏🏻

your video description is EPIC: "Remove the unsafe excess rope that coils on the floor, and live in a world of safety and precision. Forge your own reality, craft your destiny, and climb to new heights, then confidently slide down the rope back to reality." 🤣

For me this is a strange lifestyle - everything seems to be planned and controlled. Is there still any serious joy or pleasure?

Brent silly question that you probably won't see, but is your pull up bar using 43" crossmembers? No issues with length? Thinking for my own home gym to get 43" or 70" crossmembers on my rig.

Hi Brent. Congratulations on the amazing performance at the games. It seems that nobody noticed, but you definitely slowed down on the last event in order to let Roman get on the Podium, and also let Pat have some extra points. What a legend.

I like to pause & appreciate (3:10) Mat's stature relative to others. It's encouraging to remember (at least to me, being on the smaller side) that you don't need to be MASSIVE to be a great athlete.

have you talked to anyone (counsel, a union, etc) about a certification process for legal recognition? or an affiliation relationship with a larger labour union?

Sure but you've got to realize that we are potentially within the final years of the Crossfit Games. It can't continue on the current trajectory. Got to start bringing in more money for this to continue.

Stirring the pot?
@ClockCutter Жыл бұрын
Yes. Also, as an American, I've seen that the powerful and effective player organizations in the US all arose around one thing: money. The sports started raking in huge cash. The incentive dangling out in front of the players, a big share of the huge cash, made the costs of hiring lawyers and taking the risks of striking worth it. There is nothing comparable to this in "the sport of functional fitness". There's no money. Where there's no money, there's no power for players/tradesmen/etc. There's is nothing worth it for them to take risks. If Fikowski tried to organize a strike, he'd quickly find that most of the athletes would "cross the picket line". In a way, the PFAA is worse than a trade union or a professional players assocation. It's an attempt to pose as something it's not, and it ends up looking just like a complainers club, a clan of malcontents, with its officers stirring up sheeeit looking for easy salaries.

@@ClockCutter it's a valiant effort. Worthwhile. The athletes have enough power to throw around, without question.

Hi, Could you do an experiment for me?: I want to compare my Northern Lights Air Force Dual Action Cycle fan bike to a Concept2 Bikeerg. On separate days, when you're fully rested, pedal one bike as hard as you possibly can for 60 seconds. Then on the other day, go as hard as you possibly can on the other bike for 60 seconds. For the Bikeereg, tell me the calories, distance and avg. watts. For the fan bike, tell me how many pedal revolutions you managed along with the indicated calories burned. On the fan bike, be sure to just use your legs only. Thanks.
@Fikowski Жыл бұрын
the bike in this video is a Schwinn. which i no longer own, this is a video from 8 years ago. I have never owned a northern lights air force dual action cycle fan bike. so I cannot help you
