Hi Steve, great video! @50 second mark, you used the paddle pop stick and pulled the brush under the paddle pop stick. Why was that? To remove excess paint or a long loose hair on the brush? Thanks!

*$250 an hour 12 years ago!!! today is 5/21/2024. Seems excessive for such basic work shown. of course if it is some complex beautiful custom one of a kind work but this looks pretty basic, overpriced 250 an hour. and from video we can see flaws in the white outline, overlaps*

Thanks so much Steve!! I’m 63 with a art degree. People at bike rodeos were always surprised when I’d say: I can’t do that”. It’s the truth, but I’m buying your brushes and watching. I’m trying to make it happen. Your right…there was a big difference when I use your brushes. I’ve got a long way to go, but improving with your brushes! Thx!!

I love that color combo. Especially, I don't know what you call then Steve, but I call them feather ends. Here; 11:37 Those darker green feather ends walking through the lines to that brighter green feather ends on the top, is just a great color combo. It makes it pop like mad! Awesome work Mr. Kafka!

I have one question. I has always made me wonder. Why do you use both thinner and mineral spirits? Are they not doing the same job essentially? Or am I completely wrong? Best regards!

Dear Steve. I find it a shame that you haven't posted more videos in 7 years. The work and the way you teach is gold. So with that in mind, thinking about how long it has bin since, I hope you are doing well. Regardless of what you are doing these days. Many loving greetings from a fellow ½ viking! - M
