The only thing I would change is the esc it’s stuttering way to bad on inclines and under load.
@JanSonnemann25 күн бұрын
Hard lines is another great idea. The rig is ok for a comp crawler. The most fun was the built with all this creativity I assume. Not sure, if they are necessary or increasing performance (upright mounted servo?), but to see all the ideas and how the builder implementing them in the rig is inspiring! Downside is the stuttering motor-esc combo and the tiny battery (the reason I hate this stile of front axles).

@KaribouskiАй бұрын
From now on, everything is a line ! 😂 Impressed on how planted and balanced this rig is. Like others said, that HP chassis doesn’t have crazy unique geometry or features so I really wonder how each of the little details impact the overall behavior. Looking back to the other line slayers you roasted, sub 400g, very light rear, bigger wheels seem to be some basic guidelines but what do I know. I don’t even crawl enough to get a real vision of the finer stuff.
@KaribouskiАй бұрын
Also it’s funny how we like to build cool looking trucks with nice parts and all but somehow more often than not, end up driving the beater or cheapo that just works so well. And I don’t mean beater in a negative way, I can imagine this to be a beater truck in that guy’s fleet. Sure has nice parts but it’s meant to be driven hard and not care about scratches or a tumble.

You can tighten the swivel on the Noble to stop the wheel moving
I get wanting one but i think you could get 98% of the performance with a TexomaRC slayer with Meus axles. Hes building RTRs with tungsten weights and anything you want dimension wise, but it can be done relatively cheap compared to Hardpark if you build your own.
