I so enjoyed this video! My life has been traumatic lately and my KZbin time limited to a few videos so I’ve missed a lot. The kids are so big! Can you remind me the kids names and ages? I have a Noah too! We started back August 6th for our homeschool.

I love this video so much! I have a tenth and twelfth grader who are completely independent BUT I have a 2 yr old, almost 5 yr old and a 6 yr old. I'm struggling with finding a curriculum, rhythm, routine etc. what would you use and what would your day look like with those ages?

I seriously would like your help. You seem to be so put together and everything and my husband just surprised me and told me that I am homeschooling my 5, 3, and 1 year old boy's that can't sit still. I wrote down the curriculum you use but I'm not understanding how to use it once I get it. My son will be five in January and he still doesn't know how to read. He knows the alphabet and can identify letters I'm trying to work on his handwriting with him. And I'm working on flash cards with my 2-year-old. I'm just really overwhelmed and I'm really struggling with discipline while trying to juggle this new idea of homeschooling too. Cuz I'm drowning and trying to be a good mom and do all the cooking in the cleaning on top of all the teaching. Please help me if you can.

Hi there, I have a soon to be 5, 3, and 1 year olds and my husband wants me to homeschool and I'm feeling very overwhelmed at the thought. I am a stay at home mom but I don't want if they go into public school that their not behind and I'm a Christian mom and have dyslexia and autism myself and don't want to mess up my kids. What is the best curriculum you suggest that covers every like language arts, math, science, art, music, PE, or curriculum that helps teach on computer some things? Please help...

How do you schedule the extras like maps, cool history questions, and crafts? I do better if there's a routine. So, for example, I like knowing that we're always going to do a map on Tuesday, or on the first day of a new chapter, or whatever. I bought BiblioPlan Ancients last year, but decided to hold off on it until next year when my youngest is in 5th grade. My thought is to go through the 4-year cycle in 5th-8th grades. Anyway... I am having a hard time figuring out what extras to use and how to schedule them. The daily schedule for reading Remember The Days is fine, but sifting through all the reading suggestions in the Family Guide / Lesson Plans Plus is also confusing to me. I want to use the curriculum, but I wish the guide wasn't so overwhelming.

Question…. Do my students really need two different text books? One is in elementary and one highschool but doesn’t that defeat the purpose of doing history together? When do they come together to work history together?
@thisrothtribe3780
@thisrothtribe3780 26 күн бұрын
So, my 14 year old daughter read through the high school text on her own and used the cool history work pages to take notes as she read…. She comprehended MUCH MORE than if I was reading it aloud to her. As a result, she really did history on her own, but was studying the same thing as we did. If you want, you could have your high schooler join you guys for any read alouds, maps, and hands on fun while reading their age-appropriate readers and consider the years as a supplement…. But consider the years is MEATY and may be too much to combine with other independent reading selections unless you’ve got a voracious reader who lovvvvvves history.

The long awaited video is finally here, Yay! One of my children did eight credits for 9th, dual enrolled for some classes in 10th and now doing a "super year" 11th/12th and finishing high school early. So that maybe a consideration for your son. Looking forward to hearing your reviews on Mr.D's Math.
