Yes girl, I sure do! I have 4 kids and I shop for them and myself second hand. I recently found a $218 pair of jeans I got for $12. Also a real leather purse and wallet. And a leather jacket. You definitely have to hunt and go in with the mindset of I find what I find and not be looking for too specific or you can be disappointed, but man when you find great deals on stuff that fits perfectly, it sure makes it seem worth while.

I don't think I shop "consignment", but where I live, we have stores called Once Upon a Child that sells used childrens clothes and we get about 75% of items for my kids there. The only things that I typically buy new are shoes and coats.

I wish we had consignment shops where I live.... I noticed you mentioned a stain on one piece of clothing. I used the original Dawn dish soap for all my grease stains and it always removes the stain ( especially if the item has seen the drier) but I have gotten lucky if it does as we own a junkyard and our clothes are always getting greasy. If you haven't tried the original (blue) Dawn dish soap I recommend you give it a try. It is a staple in my laundry room😊

I love thrifting and consignment sales for kids clothes especially. We used to have so many consignment sales in the area but slowly all the local ones aren’t doing it anymore. Thankful there’s still yard sales and thrift stores. Thanks for sharing the haul

That is a really fantastic haul! I saw you at the homeschool conference on Saturday. I definitely stumbled on my words, I don't usually walk up to random strangers to say hi lol. I'm sure it is a weird sensation for you as well, someone is like hi, I know your name but you have no clue who they are😅😊. Anyway, I should have given you my number. We live on Douglas Lake, my kids and I would love to have you guys visit sometime. We have a little beach area, a water slide off our dock, kayaks (and lots of life jackets), and a large ark playground. We would love to be friends with you guys!

Also, I just have to say, your youtube channel is such a great example of christian hospitality. You share your home, light, and life with thousands of strangers - it is really gracious And Brave. Oh, I forgot to mention my children's ages 9b,10g,11g,12g,13b(the super tall kid with me lol),14g and 15g. I have 5 older children as well (my college kids and married daughter). They (the older kids)all have their own world and wouldn't be hanging out for a homeschool picnic outing by the lake. 😊

Yes!! I used to work for Rhea Lanas as a leader in our local sales. I really miss that. We are lucky enough to have quite a few ones near us including Just Between Friends in Chattanooga which is my favorite one. My kids grow too fast to pay full price for anything. I am not in the season of life right now where I consign my items like I used to when they were younger but I should start again. You got some great deals!!

We thrift shop and I found a ladies sweater with tags still on that said $96 and I got it for six dollars!
