I have 95 john deer 325 has 12.8 volts at the battery but won't roll over with key, put a jump pack on it and it will start and run for a like 4-5 minutes but the deck won't engage.. only way the deck engages is of the jump pack is still hooked up amd but only comes on for a few seconds.. very confused on why it will only start with a jump pack with a good battery.. bad pto switch or would yah think a bad pto? Wchih is only 2 Years old

Well I hit a tree root and while still on top that root I disengaged the mower blades. The blades quickly came to a stop. I drove forward and tried to re engage the blades, Nothing! I have checked the cable at both ends and it is still in tact. I have checked the main drive belt and mower deck belt and they are good and still on the pulleys. What else could it be?

Actually as a 35 yr Senior Master ASE I find that most of my electrical fixes are bad connectors or bad grounds. Some have a high or low current flow and when corroded will not work. It's actually saved my customers allot of money and me time. It also has made me a bit of money and my customers quite happy.

Why does the carb stop the engine from physically turning
@RaleysSmallEngines7 сағат бұрын
Good question. It's because the needle and seat leaks fuel into the combustion chamber (top of puston) causing hydro lock. If this happens the crank case will also have fuelixed with the oil and must be changed before running.

Great video. My Cub Cadet makes the exact same noise as yours did. (Kohler 26hp - 2016 XT2 - 270 HRS) It stopped last week during a cutting session, due to an ongoing fuel problem I am still having. It would start after the fuel filter would fill up again. This last time, only the click is heard. Replaced the battery, solenoid and PTO switch and checked the battery ground at the frame. Still only get the loud metallic click. Can you please offer up any ideas what to do next? Thanks!

I would love to disable the switch that prevents you from going backwards with the blade running on my John Deere X739. I can then operate this mower as a zero turn without having the press that yellow button every time I back up.

If it ain't firing it isn't the carburetor. It is more likely to be the flywheel magnet is rusty Along with the coil surface. The carburator is definitely not the reason there is no spark. So I don't know why he would say it" it's not firing so I guess y'all going to get to see a carburetor rebuild. " Like the carburetor is why it is not firing. Shady tree.

Engineers should be required to work on each prototype design, in the hot, in the rain, and the cold, before they sign off on a design. To engineer is human.

What if the solenoid lights up with the key off or on? Bad part? Shouldn't it be off when key is off?

How can I fix a Husqvarna that is stuck on high compression
@RaleysSmallEngines3 сағат бұрын
Check your compression release. I have a video on that, not sure which ones, but there a couple. I think the cam replacement video covers that issue.

I've never seen blades THAT torn up. Those blades are made of special heat treated alloy steel. They are strong. I cut a 3/4 inch steel pipe fitting in half mowing along a canal. I saved it for years.

Nice video T-Bone and Mrs. T-Bone. I noticed when you were putting the first rear deck mount on (left side) it was backwards, the right side wss correct. I must say you've made my mind up about getting and electric winch as my little helper. Just getting to old to be using brute force. Like you've said many times before, " work smarter, not harder. Again, thanks.😎✌

You're welcome. I will try to keep this short. Our inventory is always a work in progress. It started as use it twice, stock an extra. Over the years it has grown according to my customers and their equipment. My inventory is solely based on my area, our customers and the equipment they use. I'm sure every geographic location is different. Hope this helps you my friend.

My John Deere a neighbor gave me had the same problem and I replaced the carb, the same issue would happen about 10-15 minutes of driving and would only stay running if I threw it on choke and then die out. Still after 2 years left it set in back of garage where it should be in the scrap pile.🐦
