I am a 100% Porsche Fan, however is sad to loose one of the major world´s sport manufacturer at WEC. Porsche, Ferrari and Lamborghini should never miss the party!...

Sucks for the WEC but good for me as I always try to go the 24 hours of Daytona ! I did not hear a reason why the WEC requires 2 cars.

Full commitment from the manufacturers. And both cars will be able to score points.

If seeing as many Hypercars race next year and Vanwall being given their slots.....It'd actually be a good thing. You'd get 2 Lambos in IMSA (as opposed to 1) and 2 Vanwalls in WEC (as opposed to 1 or 2 Lambos). However, again Vanwall hasn't been given slots in WEC, even though there are spaces................So, either they aren't as ready as they said they were, or WEC has totally stone walled them. I.F., I could understand as they left the series part way through. However, Vanwall never did, and have made improvements to their car.
@asymsolutions16 сағат бұрын
Vanwall can't afford to run two cars and is "somewhat" still in a name legal dispute.

Am I missing something? First, the WEC implements a 2-car minimum full-time, yet Proton only enter ONE car. What's going on?
@FormulaJonah22 сағат бұрын
It’s a 2 car mandate rule for factory backed teams. Proton Competition is a customer Porsche team, so they aren’t affected.😉 I hope this information helps!

@TexasNightmare24Күн бұрын
i hate the 2 car mandate rule and the field cap so much 😭😭
@RukaGoldheart14 сағат бұрын
The field cap is because of Imola. And the with the 2 cars mandate also brings both manufacturer cars scoring points, so a much more virulent fight for the championship. And Lamborghini doing the bare minimum, yeah, they were never going to fight for anything in WEC.
@guybeingaguy8 сағат бұрын
The point of racing is to go as fast as you can. WEC mandates you install their parts to make all the cars equal. WEC is laughable at best. If the racing organizers restrict the cars I’m not interested.
@WorldwideRealityVideosКүн бұрын
half-hearted effort.... might as well not do it...
@frankj0484Күн бұрын
The 2 car mandate has ruined some manufacturers, but because of the Isotta's financial crisis & the closing of VW factories, Lamborghini & Audi are mostly affected which cause them to have crisis in motorsports. If Lamborghini chose to stay in WEC 2025 by having only 2 hypercars but no LMGT3 car, it could've occupy Isotta, Vanwall & Glickenhaus spots. If Honda joined WEC in 2024 & staying in 2025 season with Acura hypercar(rebranded) & NSX GT3, it could've completely occupied to 40 cars total but Lamborghini is staying in IMSA in order to give them some time to repair the issues & facelifting the hypercars because North American racing series is cheaper & more affordable. If ALMS introduced hypercars, maybe if Lamborghini is secretly interested too, but who knows?
@asymsolutions17 сағат бұрын
it's 100% the cost, they wanted to stay in the WEC and said they would try to if they can afford it. But it's not feasible. ACO needs to get their heads out of their heads.

With the financial issues that Volkswaggen is having it was pretty sure. The same has to be expected for Audi F1 entry.
@carfan3762Күн бұрын
I think Lamborghini will return in due course with strengthened preparation in WEC and IMSA as well as launching their new GT3 Temerario. They have invested so much means and passion into these racing programs that they cannot afford to simply quit. It would be denying their legitimacy in the matter and rather harsh on the teams that have supported them with their engagement. At this point, quitting altogether could also have a disastrous effect on their commercial sales. 😎
@virgilioanlupas1459Күн бұрын
WW crisis is affecting them.. In another vein, Lamborghini does not have a credible history in motorsport. They appeared, as a car manufacturer, from Don Ferrucio's ambition to counter Ferrari. They built cars for the same market segment but they never rivaled Ferrari in terms of sporting value.
@austinprochaska3762Күн бұрын
Great video just like all the rest. Would be interested to see a video from you or someone else's explanation of why Ferrari doesn't run their 3rd WEC hypercar in IMSA instead?
@onkelmarvin8360Күн бұрын
Their debut season was crap.....let`s be honest. I don`t know if Lamborghini expected to " Waltz " into The WEC.............and win everything ??? Being a new team in ANY racing series, means you`re already behind the more experienced teams...........but obviously they`d rather come up with some BS explanation for why they`re pulling out, instead of just admitting, that their car.........just wasn`t good enough to compete with the others.......🤔
@arkangelarkangel1302Күн бұрын
They'll be back with the Temerario GT3 as there go to, maybe Hypercar is a work in progress and it's better placed in IMSA for some seasoning.

Pretty much from the start I've been sceptical of how long the manufacturer boom in LMH/LMDh is going to last, and the fact we've had manufacturers dropping out hasn't changed my mind on that. But I guess as long as other companies are keen to join, e.g. Aston Martin and Hyundai, it's fine, but I do have questions over their staying power medium to long-term, especially if they're not getting results. To be honest, when it came to WEC I didn't think that Isotta or Lamborghini would last long (I'm sceptical about Alpine long-term as well), but it's still a shame they've pulled out. That said, at least Lamborghini haven't left entirely, they're just focusing on IMSA with plans for a possible return to WEC.

And Audi has now sold a majority stake to some Qataries. Their F1 program is a joke and it was at the expense of a LMDh and their entire customer racing program. Absolute joke.

One thing that was on my wish list was Lamborghini running 2 cars in GTP at the Rolex 24 next year. But in all seriousness, it’s sad to see them leave WEC. Both of their cars finishing the 24 hours of Le Mans with no reliability issues/garage visits was a huge achievement for them
@frankj0484Күн бұрын
Well, the Huracan faced reliability issues which explained why Iron Lynx switched to Mercedes & Iron Dames switched back to Porsche. If Lamborghini is staying in WEC with leaving only 2 hypercars, Sarah Bovy could've drive the SC63 as Iron Dames hypercar team because she's promoted to silver. Lamborghini is returning to WEC in 2026 with buffed & slightly facelifted SC63 & brand new Temerario.
