For some reason, this video popped up for me to watch. I must say - you are very resourceful. This captured my entire attention and you really made something out of almost nothing. I am so impressed. Well done. You are a skilled and very talented man. Brilliant job, nothing short of brilliant.

shame you didn't keep any of the brick visible, it was really beautiful and the white tile in the bathroom is hideous :), wonderful work though!

That shop was owned by the parents of my best friend "Terry Saleh" in the mid 1970s, when I lived round the corner in Heathbank Terrace back then. They put the shop up for sale around the time we left Birkenhead and in 1971

At first why so cheap? After seeing the totality of the disaster why so expensive? They should have granted it to you for the price of a pint.

Wish people making videos with music in the background would stop having the music so loud you can’t hear what they’re saying. I’d loved to have watched this entire video but I can’t. The music is so annoying. AND LOUD.

Well done! I really enjoyed watching you transform the old gal into a beautiful space. I' m also incredibly impressed by your fortitude and skill in dealing with the enormity of the task facing you. I thought you would open a shop doing renos, but low and behold you are a musician as well! I think musicians make the most well rounded humans. Good luck and congratulations.

Wow. What dedication and a truly amazing result. 5 years of hard slog certainly paid off. I’d move in there tomorrow. The quality of the installation is top class and the plastering? You did an amazing job!
@lauralake7430Ай бұрын
Lovely stuff! Interestingly, in the us we dont plaster over the plasterboard. We call that drywall and once it is taped and the seams mudded, thats it. My experience in getting a plasterer for an historic house that had plaster walls was that i got a guy from Italy, i had to wait a year, it was super expensive!

You did an incredible job of bringing value back to the community. Your selection of materials, methods, and design did no harm to the original structure and that is a difficult task. Your Uncle would be damned proud of you!
