Bank Fishing For Flatheads!! How To Catch Catfish In High Water!

In this vid I share some tips on how catfish can be caught in high water. Shad and carp are the bait of choice on this day. Carolina rigs with Eagle Claw 7228 circle hooks. Time was late evening, river was murky and turbid. Whisker Stix provided night bite detection and my River Rodder Rod Holders kept my rods firmly planted on the bank. In normal years our river is gin clear this time of year. Them flatheads get dark in that clear water, they lighten up as the water stays muddy for any period of time. It's cool.

Congrats on the PB's!! These are Quarrow brand scales. I've had them for about 6 years now. They weigh to 110# have a light and a tape. They beep when they hit weight and lock so you don't have to watch and guess moving numbers.
