I'm watching this on an M4700 I bought on eBay for $25. Best laptop I've ever owned! Runs just about anything you can throw at it, and the batteries age surprisingly well. I mainly bought this one for the quality control/speaker updates vs the M4600s I had before it. PS - The optical drives all sound like that. Nothing wrong with them, they're just loud.

"The little thingy" as you call it, is called a tilde (pronounced tilda). Also, you do not have to type in the full name of the directory in DOS. just type the first letter and hit tab. It will cycle through all directories that start with that letter or letters.

i have one too and am working it...befuddles a little over the carburator adjustments.it seems to run ok with partial choke on, so that means it might need more fuel? new pickup tube and screen. Starts right up though. New points and condensor...and i need to figure out the attachment point for the clutch cable. and what rpm are we looking for...

Hey I just wanted to say thank you for your video. First you are from Seattle ... I'm out in Puyallup :) Second you are the only person who really goes into depth with this mower. This last December my Father passed away from Leukemia. I have been slowly getting some of his personal items from my mother and one of them was my Father's Sportlawn 18. I do remember having to mow the lawn as one of my chores. I didn't have to work as hard to get my Toro going, but it felt nice to know someone who also care about fixing it up was out there. Once again Thank You. One question I do have is the part to tighten the chain with shims. There are none out there so I wonder what you are using to tighten up that chain.

18 plus 14 is more then the 20 at shop but it feels good doing yourself

I love my 97 brighton! I bought it at 97k miles and drove it back home across the country. Now it’s at 103k and going strong. the ej22 is such a little champ, i’ve been tossing the idea of boosting it but we’ll see. I’ve always got a smile on my face whenever i start it and it only needs half a crank to get the engine going

Is it ok to leave the hose off? I noticed on my 2000 civic ex the idle is way too low with the hose attached. I removed it from the intake side and now it idles high but no longer stalls out like it did.

I used an AT440ML (Microline stylus) for about 20 years until the needle tip broke off. It could sound amazing right up until then, but I did notice some distortion near the end. I replaced the entire turntable, and the new one came with a "DJ" cartridge (AT-XP3). The difference is more noticeable than I ever would have imagined. The new one doesn't have the distortion, but it is SO different compared with what I had. When you've been swimming underwater and a few hours later the water goes away and suddenly everything clears up and it feels like you've got superhearing... The AT-XP3 sounds like right before that happens: Not enough that you can describe anything wrong with the sound, but when it goes away it sounds like a miracle (I bought a new Shibata).
