Great Video. Don't forget to add to have a back up mouth call for when the batteries die out on you in the middle of a sequence on an e-caller. Our mouth calls are a fantastic choice for beginners or pros.

Congratulations, beautiful Whitetail. Out of any animal that I'm drawn too the Whitetail deer is the most Majestic animal. I'm not sure why, but since I was very young, I've found this animal always catches my full attention. God bless, be well, and thank you.

@@codybutlerhunt I Good Lord wrote me an amazing story as well this year. My 12 year old took his first buck this year and I was sitting next to him. The joy I was able to witness will never be forgotten! To see him be patient and hold out for a mature 4 1/2 year old 10 pointer(142") made me beyond proud. Just so thankful for the creation of the the Good Lord!

Thank you very much. This video was filmed on sony zv e1 and sony a6700. Both in 10 bit 422 and slog 3. Color corrected and graded in post. A6700 had an 11mm 1.8 on it for the wide shots and the zve1 had a 70-200 on it.

@davidaldrich9433 as I've had to state in other comments that people and since deleted i agree with you that my nerves should have been better here. Whitney has lost a couple deer the last couple seasons due to shot angles and asked me to help her make sure the deer is perfectly broadside. She was also diagnosed with MS last fall and her right eye gets blurry sometimes in situations like this. I apologize that it comes across different but we were both just trying out best in the situation to help her make a good shot. She also didn't want to take a shot past 100 yards which was discussed before the shot. That is why I asked if she was comfortable because she didn't want to take a shot that far if it was needed. @davidcross5688 David ill be the first to admit this hunt had me worked up and nervous for her. That said because of some things that have happened on hunts in the past she asked that I would help her make sure the deer was perfectly broadside as she's hasn't gun hunted much. But I have to say listening to your husband doubts and him asking you questions at the most important time when you needed him to have confidence in you . I don't think he was there for you . I expected him to be telling you, you had it and to build your confidence . Not that you needed it . Your husband sounded like a control freak . By the way you a beautiful woman .

I've had some struggles in the past and kind of new to gun hunting so if anything he was just nervous for me and trying his best in a high pressure situation. We both apologize if it came across any different. Definitely excited to get one down after a couple tough years.
