There are so many beautiful women that don't have children, But have stepped into the roll of mothering every day. And I will also say this just because a woman have a baby doesn't make her a mother. I respect women that decide not to have children if they know that's not how they want to live their lives. It's not fair to them or the children. A man can't tell me anything about having children or anything else about my body.

As a proud Bonus Mom, Auntie, TeTe, Cat Mom, Mentor, Cheerleader, and Bad Bitch I proudly parent the kids, young adults, cats, and kittens in my village. The fact that this is a talking point of a man who is most likely not parenting the kids he speaks of is wild.

So the childless cat women are psychopaths but the guy who sold his family, friends and arguably his soul for power is okay? I'm a proud childless cat and dog mom. And Sofia has been officially added to the list of heros we don't deserve.

I am only still in my current position because of the white women in my department, who advocated for me when others didn't. In my previous position, I left because of my white, female "boss", who tried to get me fired. So, it's about the individual.

Tell me one thing what was it that she said was wrong? Do you guys actually encourage women that have babies with drug dealers? Do you think that women that deliberately have babies outside of wedlock to deadbeat men should be celebrated?

I know someone who took a 6 week life coaching course who couldn’t hold down a job for more than a year and refused to go to professional therapy and tried to coach me, someone who received professional therapy for 4 years of my life and was part of a spiritual social group for eight years…and I have been in the workforce for 28 years.. This “coach” told me I needed to work on myself and do inner work 😂. Meanwhile my professional therapist and I decided my therapy goals were already completed. ❤ 😂 “I got on my yoga mat…”, so true! Nasty women rule! ❤I love you both.

I love that leadership outside of the corporate world is being explored here…because just following my dreams makes me feel like a leader of my life. I think real leaders just don’t quit what they love…they don’t subscribe to society’s expectations. I love this video…it’s really so personal and society’s standards should not come into play when we are leading our lives or starting a small business or raising children in a hands on way or taking care of the ins and outs of how the home operates. And service workers who are independent contractors…those are some real bosses as well….so glad you mentioned them. Women who wear what they want…leaders…and people who love who they want…leaders. ❤ Having your school’s credentials being looked up at an interview is utterly disgusting. Thanks for both of your stories around this topic.

Yes!! Social work, therapists, teachers etc are excellent examples of structures that need a major overhaul. I don't want to be in a leadership role in my field as I enjoy direct client treatment. It's hard to make more money at this level without completely exhausting yourself. However, I don't want to be responsible for managing reports/people and insurance company interactions. Unfortunately, the 'next step' for people like me is leaving the field.

This whole movement towards paying for mentorship makes my ass itch. It's like you have to pay to build a community that pours into you and vice versa. Paying for friendship, companionship, and connections is what's wrong with life today. It's become more evident that the poor will remain poor because they cannot afford the basic necessities of life, and yes, friendship, companionship, and connections is a basic life necessary.
